that strange reverb noise is the engine starving of fuel because the "HSN" is too lean

this engine wont last

large areas with lots of breathing space...were your on full throttle a lot of the time require the "hsn" to be 1/4 richer...than what would normaly be optimum.

you may go ahead and tune the "lsn" for maximum punch...but "HSN"...MUST BE SET A 1/4 RICHER

@1521joe jus cuttin in but what u mean by the high speed needle being 1/4 richer, 1/4 richer than what? reason being is that im gettin one soon and i dont wan't to mess anything up so any help would be appreciated offof any1 cheers :D

ok....this is what i do

after break in

1) i tune the high speed needle for optimum performance..

2) i then tune the low needle for optimum performance

3) this this perfect for the track...BUT....if im running my model ina park or large field..i then turn the high speed needle anti-clockwise only by 1/4...of a full turn

this makes the engine run richer..keeping it cooler and insures long life.

this type of tunning is better for large fields were your on open throttle a lot.

@1521joe ahh right cheers buddy. just got back in from running 3 tanks on the road, so i tuned it for the best performance and ive just had it going around on 2 wheels in circles, having so much fun but then on the last tank, eeeeeehh all i hear, not only the spur gear has ripped of, but the fuking clutch bell hahahaha lmao, i might just burn the fukker man so annoying, might get a hpi trophy truggy 4.6, what do you think of the truggies? more for track?

truggies in genral are great.

there are better truggies than the hpi 4.6...but for the money the hpi is good.

if your budget can stretch to it....try the losi 2.0

having said that...the hpi @ £300 is ok

also...if your not familiar with tunning...then see some of the tutorials here on you tube

or buy..nitro engines ultimate guide...it explains tunning and lots more basic info

basicaly....most modelers run on the rich side of optimum.....i certainly do.

u should buy the 4.6 shell if it fits on it :) looks gdgd n sounds good aswell mines bad at the moment im brakin it in at the moment but i cant get it to accelerate at the mo so i need to yune it kinda so i can start the first and second run but i hope its better n i can drive it

originally it's a trophy 3.5, but the block is replaced by a 4.6 block.
