I remember watching this on the 6th of may on the Maori channel (i'm from new zealand) and I really liked a certain dance performed by the men, the beat of the song was quite slow, but the movements of the men were quite small yet very sharp, eg, they jerked their heads sharply and moved their arms almost robotically. they had their hands near their faces to i think? what dance was that??
Thank you for the nice comments. The last dance was the Fancy Dance, b4 that, i think we showed the Chicken dance, and the Traditional, from what i can remember.
I hope you saw it in HD. BTW, we had a showing at the Jules Verne Film Festival in LA At the Shrine Auditorium (that were the Oscars used to be held) it looked awesome on a 40ft screen.Wow!
Dan Jones and I had started talking about a Directors cut.one where we don't have to stay within the conforms of broadcast timing. we'll see.
WHOA! At the Shrine Auditorium?? That's big time!! :D But it was a beautifully made documentary. Yea i can imagine that it would've been awesome on that screen too!! :D
PLEASE MAKE A DIRECTOR'S CUT!! I'm hooked on you and Dan Jones' work, lol.
Thank you so much for your prompt and informative reply. :D
