  • I don´t care f..ck abt da recipes . Just enjoy watchin Nigella ! YUM !

  • OMG okay i love nigella lawson and i subscribed to your original channel fionasuper a really long time ago but when youtube took it away i was SSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOO pissed but i just found your mew channel two days ago and I'm so happy!

  • I would like to know how to make the pastry and not use the store bought kind.

  • It's difficult! I remember doing it when I was like 11 years old, it took me four hours :) But it's fun. It shouldn't be too difficult to find a recipe.

  • It's not really worth it. I've made it before and it takes a lot of time and effort, and in the end, you will have something that tastes just like the storebought ones. There are some real good recipies out there for puff pastry, it just really isn't worth it in my opinion.

  • Just search the web for recipe's. I made some last year...a practice batch, and a serving to people batch. It took all day for each batch (a lot of chilling/rising time), and took a lot of work, but they were absolutely incredible to eat right out of the oven. They tasted WAYYYY better than the storebought ones, and I felt like a stud because I made them my self. They were a HUGE hit with the people I served them to.

  • me too..

  • @monroe444 Its an absolute bloody nightmare making all butter puff pastry. Im sure if you google a recipe there will be loads but trust me when i say even the top resturants these days don't make it anymore. If you buy a really good one then it will be just as good if not better than anything people can make. But google the recipe they will be there.

  • @monroe444 can i say and my brother is a pastry chef, that pastry products that they sell in the grocery store are made so good these days. he said all that fiddling around making your own puff pastry is a waste of time. sweet crust is real easy to make though

  • @monroe444 as gordon say never ever made all ways buy it

  • @monroe444 puff pastry is essentially just several layers of dough rolled down on top of each other into one :-D

  • @lisalilsmartass you're forgetting the very important fact that there is butter in between the layers of dough. I've made it myself twice, but its really not worth the effort unless you want to embed certain flavors into the dough itself. That is, you could make a chocolate puff pastry dough, instead of layering chocolate between plain puff dough.

  • @ghettojeddo yup I know .. I wasn't giving a detailed recipe of how to make puff pastry ... just summarising :-)

  • @monroe444 puff pastry is hard to make...

  • @retrotw unless you have a marble table top and a spare day. then they'll eat in in a quarter, and you break down.

  • just made these. used chocolate chips though, and sprinkled some icing sugar after baking. very nice if i may say so myself. =)

  • i take back what i said

if you leave them to cool they are very nice

  • I just cooked them and they werent very nice and were a bit boring.

But i did make some doughnut french toast and that was very nice.

  • I cooked these, they are not nice at all! They do not taste like croissants, it tastes of very dry pastry with a lil bit of choc in the middle lol....very very dry. Love you nigella though

  • Really? Did you use butter puff pastry? I'm going to try this, I just need to buy puff pastry the next time I go shopping =)

  • OMG! EASY.....BT LOOKS YUMMY =]

  • Thanks so much for posting all of these!

  • So easy! I want to make them now! :D

  • lol she is such a temptress

  • too easy :)

  • i LOVE nigella!!

where do you get her videos?

  • These vids are edits of the original 2007 UK show as seen on TV. I hope you like them!

  • what is that roll called? Flat pastry... what's the name of that flat brown thing? Hehe... I couldn't understand what she said...

    *IloveNIGELLA*

  • puff pastry?

  • @fionasuper2 oh yes i do!

  • @fionasuper2 Thanks Fionasuper2 for the uploads. But could you share the title and composer for the music for this video 20 seconds through till the end of the video? Nice work adding the musical touches to the videos. =)
