Ostensibly, the bit was actually ABOUT the cars they were driving, in this case, the Suzuki Swift. They were trying to show that the cars were dependable even in snowy conditions.

I don't recall the specific season, but I can tell you it was the same year that the Winter Olympics were in Lilliehammer, in Norway, since that's where the special happened.
