  • 6 years later, and the song STILL kicks ass

  • does anybody else think he looks like atreyu from the never ending story in this vid

  • pak o h0m0s

  • way back when MTV was about music and not retarded porn...

  • Comment removed

  • My first proper live band - Folkstone! Terrific!

  • @greentoeddude same here...Hundred Reasons?

  • great sound totally dig it !!!!

  • this is still one of my all time favourite music videos. So much energy, great work.

  • Remember when MTV2 was good?

  • @RD2006 Remember when MTV was good?

  • lol nice pearl necklace bassist

  • @PolarBearClub90 "Kerrang! 4 was a sick album"

Get the fuck out of life. Also, this shitty band of nu metal faggots suck. Listen to good music.

  • @VanishingWish dude dont be a cunt. Just cos you dont like it doesnt mean they are a bad band and theres no need to start chatting shit at someone who does like them.

  • stomach hair is telling me to kill you

  • Such an amazing song. Kerrang! 4 was a sick album, InMe made that CD!

  • 2 : 49 demon face :)

  • why do people have to analyze it so much, what difference does it make when they started- dont all bands have influences????? just enjoy it for what it is!!!!!!!!!!1

  • the other lad has a better voice

  • Amazing band. Brings back good memories

  • come on people spread the word about InMe they deserve to be known

  • Ja Rule at the end of the vid? lol

Only checked these guys out cos my band's playing a gig and we're sharing the stage with Dave McPherson. Not really my thing tbh.

  • @Dumbjackass I'd really advise you to check out their newer stuff, this is awful in comparison :)

  • The album that this track is from is very average. I think this was a rivel record companies attempt to sign another Muse. They came out roughly the same time I think. The two singles are the best thing about the album but the rest is sub mediocre.

  • @stevegrierson Muse was 4 years prior to this. They sound VERY different. If anything, Muse were an original copy of Radiohead. I'd say Dave Mcphersons clean voice has more in common with Thom Yorke of Radiohead than Matt Bellamy. This was not a 'ploy' from record companies, InMe have had huge problems with record companies over the years and were on their own label for ages. They were some kids capturing their teenage angst. Deal with it.

  • @JamesENGL Have you got your teenage angst out now following your comments ? Hope so.

Inme may have had problems with record companies but their more fundamental problem with talent is their real shortfall.

  • @stevegrierson At the end of the day starting this 'debate/argument/whatever you want to call it' is completely fruitless as it boils down to opinion. I don't believe I showed any angst in my comment, although perhaps the last phrase was a bit patronizing. InMe sound nothing like Muse ever have. You don't believe their talented, whatever, good for you. I'm sure you have plenty more fans than they do.

  • @stevegrierson 2 singles? clearly not a real fan......firefly,underdose,neptune and crushed like fruit were all released and all had videos......get ur facts correct before you start spouting bullshit

  • @gogreenranger87 A well reasoned argument from obviously a member of MENSA. No I am not a fan, that is what I was attempting to explain, the music is samey, mostly unmelodic and pandering to a certain fan base set up by prog pop bands of the same era (Radiohead and Muse)

Sorry that I have not got a biographers knowledge of what singles were released from that album (which I do own a copy of) but as is clearly the case I only have a passing interest in the band

  • Pretty good for an angsty teenager band.

  • It's like disturbed, but crap. Kinda like a failed attempt at copying a decent band :->

  • @greefermike InMe and Disturbed have been on the go for the exact same length of time, I hardly doubt that they heard Disturbed in 1996 and tried to copy them. Listen to Acid Drop by these when they were called The Drowned. Barely Disturbed, more Nirvana. Dave was 17-18 at the time, achieved a lottt more than David Draiman did at that age.

  • @PlayEvenLouder

    agreed :)

  • @RachRules2007 Haha0 thumbs up just for

    agreeing

  • @PlayEvenLouder hehe, why thank you :P

  • @PlayEvenLouder in my point of view i say they both achive alot in there time and there is no way to compare it

1 since there diffrent music genres

2 cause they were going about it diffrent ways

so dont hate on either cause that just makes u look like a muppet

  • InMe have just produced some amazing riffs that why i love them. This one in Underdose, the intro to Neptune, the intro to Crushed Like Fruit but theyre just the more well known ones. Shame they didnt get the exposure they deserved, awesome band!!

  • @SmoggyRob87 They're still alive! and currently have an awsome lineup, check out their new stuff!

  • great song ! should really have alot more views though :( ahhh i hate it when society don't realise they have great musicians like inme and when they do just blow them off because they dislike the little parts in songs where he "screams"

  • i fancy him. <3

  • these guys look so 90s

  • Overgrown Eden is still their best album in my opinion.

  • What a classic. Such an underrated band. Overgrown Eden is awesome.

  • Dave played in my town a few months ago, didn't recognise him with no hair :/

  • They used to live 5 minutes away from me in Essex :D

  • i specifically searched this song to drive lady gaga out of my head after a website tricked me with her noise :@

  • they so deserve more success! There better than half the bands from Britain.. they should be as big as Bullet or bigger ! I remember back in the days this was on K! & MTV2 as you can see above'

  • define underated-this band

  • name of the song at the end anybody?

  • @smiddy700 ja rule - it must be the eyes

  • @Sabali101 thats the one, thanks :)

  • that riff is sick

  • @LukeBrettDickinson Yeah definately. That's what I thought about this song when I heard it back in the day and it got me hooked on InMe.

  • Comment removed

  • Totally underrated band and an amazing one

  • @HazardisRecords was he ain't in the band anymore

  • 8 years or so on and i still want dave's shirt haha

  • I was really ill when this came out and I was obsessing badly about getting the album - my mate went into Taunton for me to get it - bless x even though i now see this as crap it removed me from the pop world ! its all gone wrong - its broken

  • wow I remember this was the first band i ever saw in 2003 it cost me £6 to get in haha i love them <3

  • @utterbubble haha same i think i saw them just before overgrown eden came out, cost me fuck all and i LOVED IT.....

  • Dave Mcpherson of InMe is performing a solo acoustic set in aid if Alopecia Awareness at The Citadel in St Helens on Friday 17th September. Tickets are £6 and can be ordered on 01744 735436 or from the citadel's website. Please come down and show your support.

  • IT"S ALLL GONNE-AH WRONG

  • They sounded even better live! I'm glad they never went mainstream!! their music is raw talent and it comes through, why change it!!?

  • @DayneBritten they were mainstream for their first two albums but lost it due to changing record labels

  • @DayneBritten To actually make good money off of something you've put so much effort into?

  • omg i love this band more than life ;) they are so shit hot, the new stuff is as good. it all is (bar a certain song on WB....)

this video was the precursor to me becoming who i am. i saw this and knew exactly what being in a band meant :D

  • his voice is so different compared to their new stuff its crazy.

    UNDERDOSE FTW!

  • <3 InMe

  • Back in the day when MTV 2 was actually good.

  • @loganbiffy Too right !!!!!! old school MTV ruled

  • @loganbiffy I miss how MTV 2 used to be also. Now it's just like the Smash Hits channel but with more teeny boppers and the metal music shows feature bands that look the "High School Musical" mask in Kiss make-up applied by a blind hair and beauty student whose hands were bitten off by a tiger.

I also miss 120 Minutes, this music video has triggered off alot of happy memories.

  • @loganbiffy Good Times

  • ...kids? lol. do you know how old this song is and how old they were when they made it?

  • \m/ fuckin inme

  • omg! this band is fucking awesome! i just found out about them today, and this is by far my favorite song by them =D

  • have you heard in loving memory? that's really good

  • better then system of a down!

  • for sure !!!

  • @CH3CCO8719 agreed. By far.

  • i love InMe!!!!

    check my bass cover!

    ch4rlie

  • This is a well composed video, some great shots and cinematography and a punchy edit that gives the whole thing a good energy. This did a lot for InMe back in the day.

  • Ive seen them alot of times in sheffield.

    they are awesome!

  • me 2 saw them in sheffield last night best nyt ever

  • It was class

  • nooooo this can't be the only old song they play Damn

  • Seeing them tonight. Woo Sheffield. Shame this is the only old song they play now.

  • Ahh the memories... like the time when MTV 2 was actually good. xD

Awesome song. This and Crushed Like Fruit were just epic.

  • ahh the memories...indeed :D

  • Was MTV ever good?

  • A timeless song, InMe are simply amazing.

And aha at the end of the video. 3 minutes of epic-ness is somewhat killed by Ja cunting Rule! =D

  • @MmmKellyKapowski yh i thought the same thing! they have to kill the rock music by ending it with shitty rap! =P

  • i remember when mtv2 used to be like this and it played good music not shit like it does now

  • i saw this on rage in australia once and was hooked... sucks that i have to get the cds imported though :(

  • its so epic and a measure of their talent how they can do heavy stuff like this to technical stuff like "cracking the whip" and to soft acoustic stuff like "i will honour you" :D

    absolutely epic band :D

  • Absolut klasse!

  • I used to be able to sing exactly like Dave.

I don't know if i'd still be able to now though haha.

  • he is amazing ♥

  • Its all gone wrong, its all gone WROOOOOOONG!!!!!!!!

  • The riff sounds almost a tiny bit off, but I do really like it, can't tell why it sounds a bit weird..but..I suppose it might just work ^^

  • thats what makes a good riff, sounding different or weird, to catch your attention and say, that sounds weird, but it works with the song, you know?

  • Yeah that makes sense, it's got my attention, so props to them.

  • its a polyrhythm

  • yeah i did well to get in that club wednesday night.

  • Calm down lads...anyone who actually says wannabe rockers is blatantly 12!

  • master storm, chamber, the art of moderation, spur of the moment, nova armada, belief revival, deep regret, firefly, i will honour you, all terrain vehicle, captain killjoy. any of them ring a bell?

  • No, they're just a brilliant band who havent sold out, unlike the bands you probably listen to

  • Couldn't have said it any better mate ;)

  • @joshdavidstead OH RLY

  • @joshdavidstead my chemical romance LMFAO

  • wannabe? looks like they are to me =>

  • Then why did you upload 4 of their songs?

  • @frazerw16, wannabe rockers??? anyone who are in a band and can play good music are "rockers"

  • why has someone gave me a thumbs down?? i was sayin something good!

  • @KaNe1493 i noticed lol

there u go, neutralised one n give u plus one on other ;)

  • Key word there "play", as in at least one of them should play an instrument, and I personally don't care whether its guitar, bass, or freaking mandolin. Boy "bands" don't count.

  • Errr listen to their music now, Dave is probably one of Britain's more talented guitar players and I wouldn't call it a boy band at all.

  • I never said InMe was a boy band, they freaking rock! Dave is talented, as is the rest of the lineup. I was referring to groups like Backstreet Boys and NSync.

  • inme were freaking amazing on 1st october there was a massive wall of death it was great :) 5/5

  • the new inme is gr8 evolving but keeping their true soul and roots, they are techinically brilliant and just no how to produce stunning songs

  • The electronic stuff is only really prominent in SOTW (and the strings in the slow songs, obviously). I do think Dave sings a lot more naturally now than he used too though.. he was pretty much forcing his voice to sound different during the OE years.
