I love departing to Hawaii from somewhere that has really crappy weather. It just makes the trip that much more interesting to me. I remember back in the early seventies going nonstop JFK-HNL in the dead of winter. What a change of scenery! That was on a United DC-8-62, with my Dad doing the flying.
@dannvns there were personal video screens at every seat. however, you had to purchase an entertainment package in order to watch movies, play games, etc. non-paying users were only granted access to basic things (movie previews, in-flight maps, etc.)
i loved the multi-colored cabin lighting; matches the airline's color scheme very well. the multimedia system had an awesome interface, and i'm sure if i had paid for to take full advantage of it (for movies, games, music, etc.), i would've had a better experience.
hawaiian's service was still top notch, and the crew was very friendly. the food was good, but i think my trip previous to this (to maui) was actually better.
Were there USB ports?

nice video naswi, the 767's in the fleet were a classic :D, besides the DC-10's they used.

Never noticed hawaiian having A330's. Till this day I still see their 767's.

Another question. What are your opinions/thoughts on the new features/amenities/services of the new plane? Thanks

@naswi
also, i wish they had foot rests in coach class. i flew on a 777 in coach class before, and they had foot rests at every seat.
also, the plane is pretty quiet. either the engines aren't as loud, or the sound is really insulated inside the cabin.
other than that, i had a great experience on the new A330. very clean indeed, but i'm sure in a few years, it won't look so new haha

Ugh! I hope that the babies stopped crying during the flight.

@naswi
yeah, they eventually stopped.
