  • very cool game!

  • How i loved this game it was so awesome and the sounds of punching made it sounds so realistic and cool

  • This game is available on XBox Live Arcade as well, if you want to experience it.

  • !

Well well well! Looks like I found a game I actually remember. I used to have SEGA Mega Pack 2, which included this.

I didn't want it so I gave it to an afterschool program I went to. And still do ( I know, but my mom works late. And my dad's schedule is always unknown, and I live like 15 minutes away from my home. Buses don't drive there. D:). This was an interesting, yet confusing game.

  • the very defination of the word radical, this is such an awesome game, i love it, and miss it, thanks for the upload...

  • definetaly radical

  • Awesome game, i played it as a child ...

But its too damn hard !

Never beated the third level (as a child) !

I seriously want to put that game on my PSP and try to beat it when i'll have a little of time !

    P.S. : It's a Megadrive Exclusive ?

I played it on PC but i don't know if that was emulation or real port ...

  • The PC version is a port. The GBA version is a port also but I heard that one... isn't as good.

  • I see Unbound Saga for the PSP, it follow the same style of Comic Zone but in 3d, but probably 2D is better for games like this ...

  • Sega Genesis Collection for the PS2 and PSP has Comix Zone.

Just thought it would be useful to let you know.

  • Thanks, but i'm going use emulation that in PlayStation 2 works better than collection (i think, probably it's only the Sonic Gems Collection that sucks) !

  • @Stan1992 its on the Sega genesis collection for PSP, it can be found cheap these days, and if your a cheating bastard "LOL JK" then there are also save states well cheers :D

PS Also it was on the American Sega Genesis to.

  • you can take these items on the ground

  • This looks awesome... it's indeed "radical".

  • anyways, it actually looks pretty cool!

  • I spent a whole minute just looking at the title screen, before I managed to figure out that the fleshy-looking kinda thing on his leg is actually his knee. My mind is so dirty, ffs.

  • I remember this...

  • Did you know there were actually PLANS for a sequel? I think there's even a proof-of-concept video somewhere here on YouTube... sadly, nothing ever came of it.

  • This came out when the MegaDrive/Genesis was at the end of it's life and there was this "no 2d games" policy on the Saturn, so this might be the reason why there is no sequel.

  • I owned a Saturn, and there were plenty of 2D titles.

  • Looks really fun. I also like that Sega intro alot.

  • I was never very good at this game.

  • I got the good ending when I play this. BTW when i played one time I found a glitch when I used the superhero icon powerup Mortus fell off the screen which killed him in one hit. My brother Justin loves this game.

  • I loved this game!

  • Its interesting to play this in japanese. Lots and lots of katakana(writing system thats used for sound effects and foreign names like Turner) in it....it was almost too much! XD

  • I played this before on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, and yes, it is quite good.

  • Same with me.

  • Wow! That is just dynamic! And the dialogues sure are entertaining too.

4:00 They should have make him say "Not into the pit!"

  • "It buurns!"

  • Looks awesome.

  • I have this ROM. I beat it, but not on the good ending.

  • Never knew the game has a good and bad ending. I wonder what the bad ending's like...

  • At the end, your partner (that girl with the glasses who is always appearing in the corner to give you advice) get's trapped inside a capsule slowly filling with liquid, and you have to beat the boss and pull the lever before she drowns. The bad ending is when you beat the boss but let her drown. I've never seen the good ending before, though.

  • I'm playing this on my PSP right now. The game get's quite harder when you reach the icy village.

  • I love the effect on how the character skips every comic image!
