Take it to court and request a jury TRIAL if possible..
The more people that know about such actions by law enforcement, the better.
Also, if you get a jury trial there will be a permenant public record to serve as evidence against law enforcement, indicating a pattern of civil rights violations...

That's a really fat cop. I thought cops had to be in shape. Maybe you guys should take a box of donuts with you when you hand out the dvds. You could have just given these guys the donuts and they could have kept themselves busy.

The officer seems befuddled over the fact that you are not selling anything, that you are giving out the DVDs for free.
You should fight the bogus ticket in court & try to get some mainstream media attention while you're at it!

What? the Denver ? Partnership owns a public street of the 16th stree mall? No, I beleive it is public land. Anyway, I am appalled that the Denver Police would issue a misdimeanor for Rob handing out DVD's. We need a permit to exhist, now? When will we start getting taxed for every breath we take? This is crazy stuff. The DPD is really acting in a fascist manner. Thanks, gentlemen, for fighting the good fight on the front lines. We are all that is between us and complete Tyranny.GodBless
