9:00 I'm the exact same way. I can really easily associate places with other things.

I can also visualize places really accurately, like Delfino Plaza, because I've played Sunshine so much. I'm not sure if that actually counts as photographic though. I don't see still pictures, but rather a 3d model, that I can move around and zoom in on, etc. I can't recall super specific details though, like how many windows there are on the buildings, unless I actually paid specific attention to it once.

I know exactly what you mean about the whole associating songs or other things with memories. Everytime I play LoZ: Wind Waker it reminds me of when I first got the Master Sword. It was a hot summer day, and my parents and I were waiting for my grandma to show up. I was waiting outside, and my dad puts on an Elton John album he bought. Now, everytime I listen to "Your Song" I remember that day and when I get to that part in Wind Waker, and vise versa! I hope that makes sense.

Don't talk to me about meteor showers. I stayed up until like 3am every night for the end of last week to try and watch the perseid shower and it was cloudy every single night. Talk about a bummer.

I find that I do that thing with games aswell or with memories. Every single one of my memories seems to be catalogued by a song I was listening to or something I said or a game I was playing so that it seems that the big memory will be triggered by a smell a colour or even a word.

I start on August 30th. It's not too bad, I only go twice a week, but it's a really long day... I leave my house at 5:30 am and I don't get home until 9 pm. Partially because of the commute from NJ to NYC, and partially because I have five courses (one being a double period lab) crammed into one day <_<

I'm kind of looking forward to it though. I miss the street vendor food, and I'm sort of excited to be taking a fiction writing course. But dang, just the thought of going back sucks :P

@TheNintendoFan11 Oh that happens to me sometimes. Usually unplugging the nunchuk from the Wiimote and plugging it back in works. Or turn the Wiimote off and on. As for why it happens, if you move the control stick before the controller is on, it sets the control stick's neutral position to the place it was last in, I.E to the left. Making sure the Wiimote is on before moving the control stick should stop that from happening.

I was playing the Green Trial Galaxy (the pull star one) when I ate Taco Bell for the first time, so now whenever I eat Taco Bell I always think of that Trial Galaxy. And almost every song on my iPod is linked with some period of my life or video game, etc. For example, whenever I listen to White Blood Cells by The White Stripes, I think of my trip to Washington, D.C. last Spring, and whenever I listen to Just Like Heaven by The Cure, I think of Donkey Kong Country. @unc123193 Taco Bell reminds me of the two times I've gotten food poisoning from them....once when I was really young, and then once last year. I know it was food poisoning too because other people I ate with got sick as well. So ya...be careful eating TB. LOL

Songs and albums are the easiest things to associate with specific memories, in my opinion. I love going through all my music and each one telling their own story of a time in my life. :)

Oh, and I believe that type of memory you're talking about is Que and Contextual memory (I think). Its the theory that when we lay down memories, the path that our brains use to access the information can be reached quicker when we are in the same environment as when the initial memory was created. They did a study to test it with some divers in the water and on the beach. They learnt patterns underwater, and recalled them there and on land. Turns out they recalled more underwater. So yeah....

Man, I thought I was the only one who had that memory thing. Haha, almost every song I know of, there is a certain location I associate with it. If I'm at a certain intersection the first time I hear a song, it will always make me think of that intersection. Even songs that I heard over a decade ago still now make me think of their "locations", or just a picture of where I was, looking in a certain direction. It's so bizarre.
