Bible god commands people to murder babies in the time of Saul for the sins of their ancestors 400 years prior during the Exodus:

@exodus21v20 The Amalekites had all the time in the world to repent of their ancestor's sins. God told Saul to destroy them because he said he pass judgement on them for attacking the people of Israel when they came of Eygpt. Why don't you remember that?

The innocent Amalekite infants that were slaughtered at the hands of the genocidal Israelites did NOT have "all the time in the world to repent of their ancestor's sins."
Once a god is stupid enough to command people to kill innocent babies for him, he's opened the door for man to commit any atrocity they please in God's name. Killing babies is now a moral action to religious nuts like you; because you don't have the guts to admit that killing AMALEKITE infants is wrong.

I'd say terminating a young child's life with a sword across the neck is a form of judgement. It's a very heinous form of judgement considering god could snap is fingers and rapture all those kids up to heaven without having to suffer the pain and anxiety of being sliced open with a sword and bleeding to death. God didn't do any of this. Men did it in the name of god; while god contributed nothing. Strange how we execute criminals humanely but god let's kids suffer.

I don't think the biblical god exists at all. He is the invention of the bronze-age Hebrews. That's why his character is so imperfect that he'd be stupid enough to command people to kill babies for the sins of their parents when he forbids anyone to kill someone for the sins of their parents. Your god is a contradiction because he was invented by ancient society.
So yes, I know the bible says god doesn't like to see suffering, but then he is the number one cause of it.

@exodus21v20 God was not invented. If that was true, Jesus would never have quoted from the Torah when he was tempted by the devil. God does exist, the universe is run by law, and that law is God's. He is perfect and when he told the people to kill the Amalekites, he was keeping the promise that he made in Exodus. He also cannot contradict himself, when we think he has, we are not looking through the rights scriptures. I have relationship with Him and he is very real.

@princessmarthajandio Man is responsible for their actions and that is why God judges them. In that chapter, he was performing his judgement. Just because man is causing trouble in the world, doesn't mean we should blame God. He knows what's going on and he is heartbroken about it just as you are. Blaming him doesn't make things any better, you're only making it worse for yourself, because you will be holding a groundless hatred that will only tear you up on the inside. God knows best.

@princessmarthajandio God does exist because you are a witness. You did not form yourself in the womb of your mother, nor did your mother form you. God did. He gave you a purpose and he made you for his pleasure. Would you rather believe a group of pen heads that teach kids in school we are here on accident over a God that made you for a purpose? They can ever pin point the beginning of a child's life. The children of Israel do not invent a Savior that fought for their Freedom at Eygpt.

@princessmarthajandio yep! God did it! It has nothing to do with the sperm uniting with the egg then the zygote splitting and replicating until it becomes a fetus... Yep god just poofed us all into existance.
Also at what age did they consider a fetus a firstborn of egypt? That had to suck. Oh darn if my baby hadn't grown so fast he wouldn't have been considered a first born yet and therefore WAS SLAUGHTERED BY GOD FOR SOMETHING IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH!

@princessmarthajandio Actually babies are guilty of original sin. The bible never says otherwise so therefore they go to hell if they die. The catholic church struggled with this issue for quite some time. That is why they invented purgatory... only to be recanted. "sorry that place we said your baby whent when it died didn't actually exist"
