  • this takes me back to high school! :-) emo or not, it always made me scream "We will fight forever this time,Until they die or they're wash away" now this lyrics make more sense!

  • Btw this band was so underrated

  • this isn't emo it's a branch of emo if you must. post-hardcore all the way. but this band is so fuckin beautiful I wished they made music still :(

  • i love it man

  • oldschool..

  • music was so different for me back then. i almost cant handle this song years later. incredible

  • Regardless of wether or not you want to consider this Emo or hardcore or whatever. it is emotional and powerful in a positively influential way and i think that is why we like it. :)

  • Used to be that Emo meant more than just wearing eyeliner and having bangs that go down to your nose, youngsters. I love this band... From Autumn To Ashes is another great one. Anyone know of any other bands that do this melodic/scream combo well? I've heard a lot of bands that try to do it, but don't really pull it off like TBM and Ashes do. Anyone?

  • this band could of been gigantic. i miss them

  • I like it and the video too

  • this video has such a sad undertone to it, even though it keeps talking about not giving up, it reminds me of loosing loved ones, watching friends fade away, all that sad stuff. But i still love it!

  • God I miss these guys. Caught their concert at some shithole bar in Virginia Beach during spring break like 7 years ago.

  • c'mon, stop arguing which genre TBM belongs to 'cause what do you know? what do we know? not even them can tell and i guess they wouldn't kill time to even think of it. let's just enjoy this without a fight, that's what music is made of. peace..

  • thank you for sharing this video...

  • I need the mediafire url to download the spilt they made with ettison clio.

  • Blah! come back TBM!

  • @nirvfan81 they broke up????

  • @anjelbella777 Def hiatus least EP was in 06' and no new news or anything updated. The singer plays solo acoustic stuff every now and then.

  • It's 'screamo' because these guys play good music and started doing it before your gay little metalcore bands did it. It's not just a drop C w/ a chug a chug a.

  • this is post-hardcore fucko

  • yea because there wernt any chug a lug metalcore bands in 2004 or anything....

just because a band is a scene band doesnt determine its genre, there are lots of kinds of "scene music". there are lots of things you can call this band... emo, screamo, pop punk, post hardcore, indie..all of the above can be said

  • wtf? i dont get it XD

  • yuck. Bahh IHH pussy music. Where is the toilet??:.... grööööööööööööö

  • Myke C loves the beautiful mistake.

  • wow, amazing. =]

  • I first heard this song on a promo sampler called RXK-001 that I got at a moneen show like 6 years ago. It had some coheed and cambrian, eighteen visions, , funeral for a friend, rufio, everytime i die, etc.... and all that stuff's aiight, but this smacked me right in the fuckin face..

this vid version of the song is cropped. the bridges are kinda stifled.. obviously to keep the pace up, but it's still powerful.

it's cool to finally see josh's face when he wails the choruses.

  • who sings this????

  • The beautiful mistake is their name.

the song is called this is who you are.

    (Y)

  • when I first heard them I thought it was two diff. people singing cuz his voice changes quite a bit w/ dynamics

  • I know I'll probably get flak for this, but this was one of the songs I remember listening to when the whole "emo" movement first started. I know most people would classify bands like Fall Out Boy or My Chemical Romance as emo instead of this, but being part of the scene when it started this is how I remember emo sounding at the time.

Back then emo had nothing to do with depression, or any of those other stereotypes people have given it over time it, was just pure ambient, emotional rock music.

  • Suppose I can see what you mean there. Though one of my friends compared these guys to GoAudio, which is just....wrong.

Amazing song, wish these guys would come back and make another album, but oh well. See, I'd kinda class this as experimental heavy rock, which I love, you know, stuff like Hopesfall, Thrice, Finch (who im gonna see live tommorow). But this band fucking ROCK!

  • I agree.

this was real emo, or almost real emo, not the mainstream shit that kids are listening now. when i listen to this song, i remember my highschool days :(

  • I agree. I dont even consider Fall out boy and my chemical romance as emo bands, I think thats just wrong.

  • same here :P brings back some good ol' memories this band

  • @Reasons0

your absolutely right, nowadays nobody knows what emocore really is and everyone hates it because of those co called emo-kids. As you say, nobody you would ask could tell you an emo band like beatiful mistake, finch or funeral for a friend...

  • @Reasons0 emo movement started in the mid 80's. Mainly in the DC area. One great pioneer was Sunny Day Real Estate. But keep in mind back then it was call "Emotional hardcore"

  • @bestbandtbs actually emotional hardore was the influence of screamo. emo is a totally diferent thing. there was a band in the 80's that said they were emo meaning emotional hardcore but it didn't stick so the genre label was dropped and picked up later in the late 90's by all these sissie bands that are mainstream today.

  • @Reasons0 my chem is and emo band yea but has nothing to do with depression

  • @greenpanda47 MCR is not emo. Listen to Suis La Lune.

  • whose suis la lune

  • @showlowly Search it. Do I look like Google?

  • @Reasons0

    Thats because it's not "emo"

  • @Reasons0 If you think this is emo or that emo started during that time... you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

  • a bit like further seems forever......songs as pasionate as this just make me wanna get up and scream out about all the bad shit that has happened to me

  • thts my cuzn in the red he plays bass!!!!!!!

  • Tell your cuzin to get back to making music with this band, the beautiful mistake cannot end for good!! at least another EP :-(

  • This band is awesome! <3

  • i love sucking cocks.

  • yeah it is, to an extent similar to screamo. But its so awesome and gooood and beautiful that it doesn't matter.

  • this is the band that introduced me to screamo

  • too bad for you this ain't screamo :P

  • how is this screamo?

  • es uno de los mejores vidos que he visto

  • brilliant! A song about standing up for what's right. Never giving in to pressure or manipulation. Above all else, FIGHT for what u believe!

  • awesome band, light a match album was stunning for its time. good times....

  • i <3 TBM! good times! Josh Hagguist still plays solo acoustic TBM sets once in a while!

  • una de la mejores temas que he escuchado en mi vida, claro ps tenia que ser un grupo cristiano, good

  • Awesome band, great live!

  • in sweden u must hear to millencolin hehe

  • the beginning reminds me of 2 of trapt's videos

  • yea, thats exactly what i was just thinking

  • i dont remember the video and its not working like its not playing

  • i love it))

  • I love TBM!

  • fucking awesome
