tomkyleviven is right, it was made by Henry Selick, not Burton. He directed Nightmare before christmas, which was produced by Burton, which is where you may be getting the mix-up from.
seems more like a pg-13movie to me. i mean a seven to 11 year old would probably get nightmares of this for a couple of weeks after they watch this dont you think. im 13 and ive seen some pretty scary movies but this kinda creeped me out.(eeew button eyes. who the hell wants button eys)

this is my favorite movie :) and my favorite book too! the book gave me chills and i got scared to read it at night!
