Gt5 fans have the old "it's a driving simulator" thing going on but you'll be suprised how well forza simulates driving physics as a driver myself. Anyone who hasn't even played forza should at least give it a try :)

forza 4 has much much more realistic tire physics because they actually went and did testing with real tire companies (Goodyear, Toyo, Michelin) while gt5 still uses there own arcade like physics... gt5 is way behind forza 4 now... its like how everyone is comparing mw3 to bf3... mw3 cannot keep up with the realism and graphics of bf3...

A lot of you will disagree in what ill say, but this games are both equal, because one balances the errors of the other and vice-versa. They are both good games, they are both awesome simulators, but it really depends on the person, i love both, equally! I'm a huge GT fan and when i found Forza i was amazed, but really there aren't those really huge differences that people use just to fight each other it's stupid! If I could i would have both, i wanna have both...

I have, and in that respect, they are worlds apart..In fact, I thought F4's physics were overblown and more arcade like than F3 or even F2!! Coarse, it's kindof not even Forza's fault.. I mean good headsets with bass etc. as the Forzas sounds are much well optimised for TV speakers. But as you are such a nice person, Turn 10 is a lot bigger developement team than PD, as I said. PD has got 144 workers and Turn 10 over 300. So thats why Forzas evolve quickly. Its just hard to PD to compete these days. I mean, they had to jump from 5000 polygons to 500 000 polygons...

have a look at 1:40 .... granturismo has way better graphics the cars have that "metalic shine" i think the driveing in gt5 is better to as long as you dont cheat useing the beginner skid system, as a comment below gt5 is used by real race drivers as simulator ... forza dont have that.. and also you cant beat the red bull X1 car.. iv allso just read the develepers are planing a GT6 .. to combat forza 4 or even forza 5.. if it comes....... should be about 3 years for both...

i have both the ps3 and xbox 360...both systems are amazing, but forza3 clearly has better physics than GT5, to me GT5 is still a little arcade type. But i love playing GT5 because of the amazing logitech Driving force GT wheel i have for GT5 and i have the microsoft wheel for forza, but its just crap compared to the Logitech......forza 3 and forza 4 is much a greater simulation than GT5

GT5, look how well the bumps in the road is noticed when driving, you can really feel how much grip you have in the corners, but in Forza its stiff and it looks like a car on a railway tracks... I tried Forza 3 for about an hour+ and i did´nt enjoy it at all... Hands down to GT5 for the exellent driving experience. And Yes forza do have a few nice things like engine swap, paints, sounds... But doesnt have the driving experience like GT5.
