Thank you for your honest and profoundly insightful comments on how we (as a society) socially create, treat and ascribe meaning to 'differences'. Ever since Eden, where humans ate the forbidden fruit and came to think themselves as being like God, we've come to arbitrarily decide what is 'normal' & 'acceptable' and proceed to project that on to others. We even bully & kill those who don't fit. Whether you're gay, black, fat, muslim, or whatever: the Social Model resonates as a more humane view.
