Rape is rape, with the only time a rape could potentially be seen as greater in severity is when it is committed against someone who is in an even more vulnerable state (children, mentally handicapped, elderly, etc). The crime is not in the sex act that is being forced, but rather the force and violation of the will of the victim in a most personal and emotional way...

The angels were also fully able to take care of themselves, and removed Lot and his family from the evil influence of the city shortly before it was destroyed by God.

I'm an ex FLDS. This woman isn't affiliated with the FLDS. I know because I was in that city for 18 years and I recognize every single person from that town. The homosexual people at that event were not held there against their will, forced to participate in sex acts with much older members of the church, forced out of a proper education, or left with no hope of a future besides being the mental and physical slave of a religion that doesn't give a damn about them.

Rape is rape, with the only time a rape could potentially be seen as greater in severity is when it is committed against someone who is in an even more vulnerable state (children, mentally handicapped, elderly, etc). The crime is not in the sex act that is being forced, but rather the force and violation of the will of the victim in a most personal and emotional way...

For someone, in this case you, to present the idea that rape is somehow better or not quite as terrible simply because it is done to a woman (meaning that the sex act being forced is more "natural") shows a lack of understanding of just why rape is wrong in the first place. Besides, yes it is still absolutely wrong for someone to be offered up for rape even if they, eventually, end up being rapists themselves later on. I will also add that you should consider rational morality over simply defending the bible's code. I believe it is your blind defense of that book that has led you into a stunted concept of morality.

However, if someone is without control of their actions or unconscious during the act, then that is an entirely different situation. The point of the story is that all the men outside were so perverted that they refused the virgin daughters and wanted the men(angels), and the whole city was so perverted that although the daughters were married they were still virgins.
The angels were also fully able to take care of themselves, and removed Lot and his family from the evil influence of the city shortly before it was destroyed by God.

@anotheronem If you put yourself in Lot's shoes having lived in the City for years, he would have know that every man in the city was a committed homosexual, and the odds of them taking up his offer of his daughters was slim to none and he knew it. Lot was a human desperately trying to buy some time before the crowd of angry men could kick his door in and do whatever they wanted. He didn't realize that the angels had the power to protect them all, which they shortly did.

I wasn't talking by itself, it's better for a woman to be raped than a man, but in context with the gender of the rapist, which again is still bad, but not as bad because of the homosexuality of the act. I'm an ex FLDS. This woman isn't affiliated with the FLDS. I know because I was in that city for 18 years and I recognize every single person from that town. She looks like someone I know but not quite the girl. and also her last name isn't a polygamist last name, as I know all of the last names associated with them. And again, she claims she's 14 years old. Obviously she's a lot older than that. Plus, FLDS are brainwashed and don't fear being there.

You are seriously misguided. It was absolutely in the DOCTRINE and Covenants, section 132. Still doctrine to this day, but no longer practiced. Why do you think men can be sealed to another woman when his wife dies, but a woman can't unless she is unsealed from the first husband? Because the Mormon church teaches that there will be polygamy in heaven. It was revealed that it should not be *practiced* on Earth anymore, but it is certainly still doctrine.
