First of all, emo is a style of musi cwhich green day was never apart. Iwill now name some emo bands for you: sunny day real estate, weezer(only pinkerton, make believe and some of the blue album), fugazi, paramore. all are really good bands but none of them really sound anything like green day, the band Ive named on here that sounds the closest to green day is weezer and thats only some of their albums like the blue album and the green album. None of those bands wear eyeliner.

I agree...that's why when I usually do a top 10 Green Day song list, it's just how i'm feeling at the moment. The list would change constantly over the years. At one point, when AI came out, I would have had AI in the top three because it was new Green Day and it was awesome. 5 years later however, it's no longer in my top 10.

I dont prefer shenanigans to warning but your right, people do that sort of thing with every album . They hear critics and other bad reviews and they never give the album a chance. Look at american Idiot, It was given an ok review but then it became best rock album of the yearin the grammys. Shenanigans is a great album, I think its a little like all the albums because all the songs on there were made during dookie, insomniac, nimrod and warning. Shenanigans was an album full of B sides that they had already had made. Some of those songs were written while dookie was still being written. Rotting, Scumbag, On the Wagon, HaHa your dead, and suffocate were amazing songs so I dont know why you dont like it but anyways its a complication, not an LP. Its just like international superhits except its full of B sides, not hits.
