@xBiGTxLPZx The main difference is the gun trust does not require a signed form from your local Sheriff /Police department that says there's not a legal reason you can not get a type II item (machine gun suppressor etc) transferred to you. Many will not sign off on it and just "lose" the form. The trust or being on the Board of Directors for a corporation requires more legal paperwork to start it up but less when dealing with the BATFE.

Their is also subtle differences in wills etc.

@timebomb1212 From what I read Daewoo, South Korea, has the licence to it but doesn't manufacture it, and if i you want to see it action in the movie i rememder Steven Segal using it in his movie, On Deadly Ground, in 1994, and they are illegal in the US because it is a non sporting shotgun, has a bore of more than .5", and is fired by an "explosive charge" shotgun shell, gotta love the BATF, but with the proper paper work can be reclassified as a Class 3 weapon

(On comparing the AA12 to the USAS12)

The magazines for clip-fed automatic shotguns aren’t very economical - meaning that the rounds are not double stacked. You don’t want to go though ammo too quickly, and from the looks of it, both weapons go through ammo fast. I think the AA12 is better than the USAS12, because it has a lower rate of fire and therefore is more controlled, it also has reduced recoil. Plus it’s made in the United States - a country that knows how to make superior weapons.

Y'all are looking at the AA-12's father or maybe grandfather. The USAS-12 started it all. The AA-12 benefits from 20 years o material technology.

@SCTexas Actually you have it the other way around. The AA-12 started as the Atchisson Assault shotgun way back in 1972. It was changed from blowback to gas operation and renamed the AA-12. The USAS-12 entered full production before the AA-12 but the Atchisson design is the inspiration for the USAS-12.

USAS-12 is slightly heavier due to the full aluminum receiver vs plastic shell.

Both weapons are cool AA-12 is more reliable then AA-12 and it has much less recoil. USAS-12 however higher firing rate. It depends what shooter prefers :P Both of them fires all 70 mm chamber rounds. In my opinion both are best CQB weapons of choice.
