i dont self injure

i have friends that used to cut themselves and i always talk to them about everything and try to get them to keep their chin up but sometimes i worry... im the one that everyone goes to for advice. Its sad that people get stuck in these situations. i would help that guy too.

I just watched the other video that coresponds to this video. I was thinking that why he was stupid enough (sorry) to wear a short sleeve showing his burn marks, especially at the party where everybody could see the marks. and I felt so thankful that you did it for him. I would be so gradful if my friend did that to me. Well, people self-injure for many reasons and the reason or the deep motive he has might be a bit different than others. btw, I appreciate when you've done. luv u!

I can understand why your feelings were hurt and I know what you mean about trying to be there for someone and them not responding. Judging from how you describe his other friends, it doesn't sound like he's ever talked to anyone about it so maybe he just isn't ready for that and he's scared it'll be awkward and uncomfortable. But either way, you did the right thing and he was probably gratful that you stood up for him.

Ur a better person then most i know. If he doesn't take ur advice then hes got to deal with his problem on his own. My friends try to help me and i try to take everything they say into consideraton to a point. What you did was great thing and i hope that he does overcome this obstical with ur help. :) ~Sammy~

i believe you are a very good, caring person. i think he is just shy and doesn't want to talk. but i do think he was wrong in ignoring you. you shouldn't feel bad about it because if he doesn't want to talk, you won't get anything out of him. you've done your best with this person, and he probably deep down appreciates it, but doesn't know how to convey his feelings because no one has ever opened up to him like that before.

Well, I know my feelings would have been hurt. It's hard to believe this guy's not thankful, maybe he's just unsure of how to deal with what you did. Perhaps he's now uncomfortable because of it? I couldn't begin to guess. You're a good friend, he's lucky, you did a good thing.

That previous video that this one is based off of was the 1st video I saw of your chanel & eventually I ended up subscribing. U did a good deed that night. However my 2 cents say that obviously the boy is uncomfortable around you for whatever reason and he is taking the wimpy way by not communicating it. sometimes people want to suffer, er you know, they aren't always looking to get better. I might have been threatened if someone tried to help me like that too. Self injury is sometimes something that feels like no one else should be involved, even if you're ok with telling them about it.

drama sucks. maybe he is just awkward. i had a friend who self injured and he was really wierd about it. i pretty much witnessed the same kind of thing happen between him and my other friend. he had some bitterness towards him for trying to help, i think he was in a place where people couldnt help him.

Its pretty common that your friends won't understand what you and this guy are going through. I just hope that he comes through and accepts your support, whether or not he chooses to talk to you about any of his problems. I think you were in the right by coming out to him and telling him you can relate.
