The $45 unlimited deal really is the best out there. Unlimited talk time, minutes and data and all wihtout a contract. You don't get a phone with the deal but at the start you can buy a phone for under $20 which is a real bargain. Or if you want a smart phone then there are great ones with all the bells and whistles available as well..
Straight Talk prepaid is a great company especially if you are looking for a provider that does not require a contract. The service is very good as it is on the Verizon and ATT networks depending on your location.
@Edkamal14 There's NO other provider if you're looking not to sign a contract. I think Boost uses T-mobile or something (just bought by ATT BTW) and the other guys use some dinky networks. Straight Talk gets signal from Verizon which is the biggest network.
When I compare my phone to the contract phone that I had before I just see dollars. On the contract phone there were all sorts of extra charges which rang the bill up to about $100 a month. With the straighttalk unlimited I pay $45 (that is a saving of $55) and I get to call, text as much as I want to and for as long as I want to
@veryterryification Yeah It's a pretty good deal. They don't have the best phone selection and you physically have to walk into a Wal-Mart to get one sometimes which is unpleasant. But 45 bucks a month for unlimited with really good signal strength has its tradeoffs.
@ Edkamal14 , I agree. Straight talk is a great deal! I have been looking for a great reliable prepaid service and I am also thinking about going and getting a straight talk phone.
Straight Talk has the best rates out there bar none. $45 gets you the cheapest unlimited plans and $30 a month for a 1000 minutes, 1000 texts and 30MB of data is unheard of. if you want to save money, you switch over to Straight Talk.
Straight Talk equals Savings. I switched and transferred my old cellphone number to ST. The plan according to my use is the $45 a month unlimited plan. Save, don't throw your money away. I have all my gift for the coming Holidays. At Walmart I found my savings, The Straight Talk Cellphone.
it's not that easy making the decision to change contracts or in my case switch from contract to pre paid! i have been on a contract deal for so long but it is starting to look like i would be stupid not to make the change! so far it sounds like there is great coverage, i know that all i need to pay is $45 a month (no overage charges) and if i am not happy then there is no binding contract with a massive cancellation fee! wow..
I am thinking about going with a Straight talk phone because the unlimited plan for $45 sounds like a really good deal. All of the other phone companies charge at least $50 or $55 a month for their unlimited service. I think $45 is the best deal though.
I also am liking the service that is provided by straight talk. Their phones are very reasonably priced and not to mention the awesome service plans. My favorite plan is the $30 a month plan that gives you 1000 minutes, 1000 texts, and 1000 mb of data transfers!
Since buying an apartment I've had to cut my expenses drastically to allow for the mortgage payment & one of the most successful savings schemes I have made so far was cancelling my contract, paying the cancellation fee of $180 and using the Straight talk $30 plan for 1000 minutes talk & 1000 min. texts. Since I'm saving about $80 a month I'm sticking with Straight Talk
Straight Talk has changed my life! I no longer stress when the mailman comes at the end of the month and with the $45.00 per month unlimited calling, texting and data plan I can use my phone to my heart's content!
And boy, can teens text! I dread to think what I would be paying if I'd gone the route a couple of friends did with a contract and ended up with some very nasty surprises. At least I can be assured of affordability on Straight Talk's prepaid plan and never have to deal with overages, contracts or bills.
I have had a prepaid for a while now and Straight Talk have definitely offered me the best value for my money. Unlimited for $45 is a really good deal
I finally got off of my stupid contract phone!!!! Now I am in the market for prepaid and seem to be leaning toward Stragiht Talk as the plan seems to be the best value out of all the prepaid carriers. Straight talk supposedly runs on the best networks with extremely low rates.
As prepaid companies go, I've heard nothing but positive things about Straight Talk. My mom and brother are with the company on the unlimited $45 plan and haven't said anything about a drop in coverage or service. Customer service wise, a major issue with me in the past, Straight Talk apparently is doing better than most. I guess I'll find out for myself when I join up next month.
I love this plan too and so does my wallet! Great Verizon coverage and I save almost $80 a month on it. Switching from At&t was the best thing I ever did!
I love this plan! Ever since I got it I am saving at least $40 every month on my cell bill. And I always have bars wherever I go! This phone has the most amazing coverage I've ever seen. I used to be on AT&T which is not too bad but this is incredible! When you factor the price into it there is actually no comparison! Straight Talk is by far the best!
