Star Trek Starfleet Command: Orion Pirates

With out a doubt the best Star Trek game ever made. Unlike Starfleet Academy, it wasn't just about aiming weapons and unlike Armada it's strategy didn't boil down to throwing a huge amount of ships at your opponent. This is the only game in which the combat was like the combat from the movies and tv show. Damn shame they dumped all of the "extra" races (Lyran, Gorn, ISC, Mirak, Hydran) in SFC3. Would have loved to see them in the TNG era.

I try to avoid flying Battleships, they are cheese machines. Try flying a G-CC+ against an R-FHK or an F-CB - those are the fun bouts :).

I modified the hydran fighters to be kinda like SFC 1 ones, because here they're totally useless. They just fly around you.. 2:51

I don't think that particular model of Hydran dreadnought was an equal match for that model of Gorn dreadnought.

Yeah, the Paladin could take on the Gorn DN++, w/ stingers that is. The problem was, the AI din't fight that encounter well. Anyone that waltzes up to the #1 shield of any plasma user, especially a Gorn DN, gets what they deserve.
