Re JeffdetH: If there was no 80's Thrash Metal,there would be no Lamb Of God or any modern act.Voivod was in a class of their own;innovators of their craft;they took their chances at what they did n are legends for that when it was all about Thrash back then n the fact that the genre struggled to be heard.Today's bands exist because of the efforts of those bands;who are being celebrated on a grander scale today.Everybody aspires to be the heaviest n fastest but who dares do what Voivod did?
