enclave power helmet:8DT

pick toughness perk 2 times:6DT

buy neamean sub-dermal armor implant:4DT

pick stonewall perk:5DT (only against melee or unarmed attacks)

SEE? you have a charecter with 51DT against melee or unarmed

and 46DT against ranged attacks!!! and use some med-x for extra 25% damage resistance.....

@mmaaat123 True, Fallout 3 (and NV) can be played for so long. I found Fallout 2 to be very long itself, many towns and exploration to do. As for replay value, I guess I define that as how many times you restart an adventure. I probably started about 10-15 Fallout 2 games. Each character was unique, diplomat, sniper, unarmed, heavy gun expert etc

That's because the SPECIAL stat system makes a huge difference, hell the sex makes a huge difference. It has a stronger roleplaying system.

@Renegen1 I agree though, there is a lot to do in Fallout 2... The quality is better and the story feels more post-apocalyptic. The character creation and personalization just takes the game to places RPG's can barely reach as of today.

All you're doing is whining about new fans coming to the franchise. There's no problem with them knowing everything about the game they played. Let's be honest here: the stories of the original Fallout games are wonderful, but the gameplay? The game play was complete shit. I far prefer Three and New Vegas to Fallout and Fallout Two, simply because the games are actually playable. Gaming generations change.

The first guy is an enclave soldier from Fallout 2 when you are in the Gecko Power Plant when you call him on the computer, which reveals that the Enclave is actually at sea and the Drill Sergeant is in Camp Navarro in Fallout 2 as well and the last scene one of the Fallout 1 endings if you join the Master... i used to be scared of the enclave in fallout 3 but i got to level 15 and got the best equipment i could to retrieve the geck and when i entered their base no one shot at me and i told the '' president'' to kill himself and i dont know how can i take 30 guys of the enclave without any help or strategy on hard after level 20 (i have the dlcs)

Fallout 1 was great :D specially in Necropolis and where you first fight the super mutants and Fallout 2 was alright :) but i got stuck somewhere around the beginning but found my way out finished FO3 and just bought new vegas!
