In James Cameron's Aliens, they built the smart guns around German Mg-42's. Which made it pretty easy for me to identify that in Avatar, Jake's machine gun is definitely built around a German Mg- 34

i cant stop myself more corrections to made my fellow nerd. gonk droids where introduced in a new hope. a gonk droid is easily spotted in the sand crawler when R2-D2 and C-3PO reunite after being captured by the jawas . according to star wars battle front (one of the most mundo epic games of all time) gonk droids carry ammunition and do nothing else they are ammo crates with legs. agh lucas arts interactive vengeance shall be mine.

Han Solo's pistol is very easy to make. All you need to do is find a replica Mauser broomhandle pistol (airsoft, water pistol, whatever), cut the barrel short, and glue a piece of funnel to the end.

It's just a short length of PVC pipe with a coupling at the end, screwed to a piece of wood and then screwed into the underside of the barrel.

They're not intended to be replicas -- they're just clone-STYLE blasters. I've never liked to slavishly duplicate something--I prefer to make my own original designs. If I want an exact copy, I'll buy one. Any idiot can make a copy of something somebody else did, but making something of one's own requires imagination--something few people have.

So I just ignore all the tight-asses who wave their arms and yell "It's not screen-accurate !!!" Who the hell cares. (shrug)

I think that the gonk droid should be less tall, u know, because those legs make him look too tall, so maybe if the legs get shorter, but anyways its your style, i just proposed another way to make it! Keep doing PROPS, maybe you can make some PIT droids or something like that, u know the ones used in the Mos Espa Pod Race!
