That is complete Bullshit ! He could of gotten a boxing license..but then he couldn't be matched up with amatuers like he was in underground boxing. Lenny could of went to the USA, the mecca of boxing, if he really wanted to. But then he couldn't fight guys who were lifted off a bar stool for the evening !

I'm sick of reading morons saying that Lee Duffy, Brian Cockerill etc could have beaten Lenny McLean. Duffy and Cockerill never have thousands pay to watch them fight like Lenny had. Sly Stallone, Gene Hackman and other American celebs even knew about him and came to watch him fight in London. Lenny has fought all over Britain and even went to America for a fight against the Mafia's top man. There isn't even any footage of either Duffy or Cockerill fighting so stop talking crap.

@chewie2240 sorry mate but lee would have beaten lenny, ive seen him fight a few times in 1990 and early 1991 and he was awesome he was a close friend of a friend who now lives in manchester where i am from and he introduced me to lee when i went up there on a few occassions ive seen him in action, i dont take anything away from lenny but lee was a great athlete at 6.4 anf 18 stone he would have been to quick with great boxing skills.
