Um, it's impossible to be like Master Chief or any of the Spartans in a game like MAG. MAG is slower paced than Halo and MW2 but the slower pacing allows for teamwork to grow and develop and that is really what MAG depends on, teamwork. Because MAG is objectives-based, one man on your team killing 50+ people is really pointless if he doesn't steal that prototype car or doesn't help the team achieve the other objectives. It's more like Titan mode on BF2142 in that sense.

I bought the preorder box purely based on the first person shooter aspect, I didn't even know it was an online multi-player community & network PMC game. I stumbled upon the online Beta purely by accident while messing around with my new PS3 I got for Christmas.
I can tell you without a doubt it is the most awesome game I ever played and I'm totally addicted. Now if they can straighten out their network bugs so I stop getting kicked out, I'll be happy as a clam for a very long time!

Um, it's impossible to be like Master Chief or any of the Spartans in a game like MAG. MAG is slower paced than Halo and MW2 but the slower pacing allows for teamwork to grow and develop and that is really what MAG depends on, teamwork. Because MAG is objectives-based, one man on your team killing 50+ people is really pointless if he doesn't steal that prototype car or doesn't help the team achieve the other objectives. It's more like Titan mode on BF2142 in that sense.

ok lets end the console debate with this....PS3 runs 6 cores @ 3.2 GHz each for games 1 core @ 3.2 GHz for the OS and xbox has a Triple Core processor @ 3.2 GHz each.....PS3 is more than twice as powerful.....the PS3 uses blueray disks which can hold 50 GB on one disk and reads a lot faster than the xbox which uses DVD-ROM disks that can only hold 7.5GB per disk...xbox is a more expensive system that is inferior....any questions?

I bought the preorder box purely based on the first person shooter aspect, I didn't even know it was an online multi-player community & network PMC game. I stumbled upon the online Beta purely by accident while messing around with my new PS3 I got for Christmas.
I can tell you without a doubt it is the most awesome game I ever played and I'm totally addicted. Now if they can straighten out their network bugs so I stop getting kicked out, I'll be happy as a clam for a very long time!

I don't agree, Raven, however technologically advanced, does not guarantee their victory, and here's why. Take a look into history most recent, the thirteen colonies before america was created. The american army at that time was a bunch of rag tag farmers and every day people, against a well trained well stocked british army. The american army won that war.

Pistol vs a tank? Depends on the person, i'm sure if someone can open up the top and get into the tank kill the driver and it's occupants that then Pistol beats tank. There are to many factors to take into consideration, your rudimentary logic fails.

Yes it does help, hence "doesn't always".
A normal tank requires people to operate it, therefore a pistol under the right circumstances will beat a tank as it's operators are considered part of the tank in order for it to work. A medium range stand off with a tank against a person with no one else is the stupidest most unrealistic scenario anyone devising an argument could ever come up with.

No, again, in order for a tank to run there needs to be operators, if it was a tank versus a man with a pistol the man with the pistol has already won, why? because the tank isn't self operating. Nor can it be operated remotely. And if you want to look at it like that then yes after the person with the pistol killed the operators technically he/she has the tank, but it's one thing to have it, and another thing to know how to use it.

I can't agree there, well to a certain extent, the real main focus of what I meant was the fact that a buncha pretty much minute men, poorly trained, poorly armed was able to overcome a well trained well armed army simply for enabling Geurilla warfare and hit and run tactics. on the other hand ur right its not just tecnology that make up a perfect army but the years of experiance a soldier carries with him, but if that soldier was 2 be shot it wouldn matter, like in WW2 an armour consisted of mailny cloth, with technology however, body armour can be made, wich can protect lives so in a way armies need 2 have technologyt and good soldiers,
but i still choose S.V.E.R. lol palyin with a supoer-duper army isnt my idea of fun, lol
