Anyway, the technique employed to make this movie is not everybody's cup of tea. Certainly not for me. I really feel headache by the camera movement. But I do like the story behind it.

Although there things that doesn't make sense, it is subtle. Example, how did the helicopter end up crashing? It should be flying out of the war zone, but remained there for Hud to take the video. I thought it is a rescue operation, not a documentary mission for the pilot. Next, the pilot must be dame good. It crash-landed from such a height without fire!

I have just watch Cloverfield this week. Well, I would rate it 4 stars out of 5.

My conclusion, the movie is not about the monster. It is really about the love and friendship. The monster is just the backdrop to a trying situation to reveal true friendship and sacrificial love for a woman trapped in a almost collapsed building.
