everyone on this forum denouncing this speech clearly have an agenda. Anyone with a shred of integrity and brainpower would have found the FULL SERMON by Rev. Wright. That sermon shows that 1. The comments attributed to Rev. Wright regarding "chickens coming home to roost" WHERE IN FACT FROM A WHITE AMBABADSSOR Edward Peck" ON FOX NEWS. 2. The entire sermon he talks about "we", "america" and the "government". When did all of those words become synomonous with a race or gender?

i dont see how that would make him seem like a hypocrite, since he even said that everyone at one point or another questioned what was being said at a sermon. Well, one can disagree with that statement i guess, but remember, at the end, the news anchor at the end said that "anyone who expected Obama to play it safetly today, was wrong", so this speech one can say isn't politically convenient. Let's not forget about Black Liberation Theology either. Much of what Rev. Wright says is part of his theology. Did Obama go to a Church while disagreeing with the Church's theology? What does that say about him?

P.S. From this section of the speech: "schools steal the future of our children..." Huh? The educational polices of the Democrats result in poor results. "Schools" in the abstract have nothing to do with it. That's a clever sleight of hand--but shame on him all the same.

If we as a nation are not bright enough to grasp the opportunity we have to make this man our president, well, I'd say we deserve what we get, but what we get would be too harsh. The stakes are too high.

wow...i'm not a mushy person. i am not easily swayed. but that speech honestly made me wail up with pride and patriotism--a word i don't use very often honestly. it is refreshing to see honesty. it is almost unreal to see that kind of honesty.
