My opinion on the Iraq war is that Hussin was funding and providing haven for terrorist groups. He was becoming a destablizing force in the Middle East. It could be argued about the weapons of mass destruction, but since three administrations believed they were there and the amount of time Hussin had to move or hide them makes it difficult to pin down. We took the fight to their back door and as a result were safer. It's a long tuff war to win when your not able to go where you need to get them.
Respectfully, Its not our tax dollars being spent. The US is broke, we have no more money, the money we are spending is simply borrowed money from the worlds. Respectfully, you are correct, technically. However, our Income Tax are used to pay the interest on the money borrowed to fund the Iraq War. Tax Payers are indirectly paying for the war, if by nothing else, in lost opportunities to improve prosperity. This Iraq war contributes to the decline of America, so this must be what the rest of the world wants since they accept the dollar and the U.S. presents in Iraq.

My opinion on the Iraq war is that Hussin was funding and providing haven for terrorist groups. He was becoming a destablizing force in the Middle East. It could be argued about the weapons of mass destruction, but since three administrations believed they were there and the amount of time Hussin had to move or hide them makes it difficult to pin down. We took the fight to their back door and as a result were safer. It's a long tuff war to win when your not able to go where you need to get them.

Respectfully, you are correct, technically. However, our Income Tax are used to pay the interest on the money borrowed to fund the Iraq War. Tax Payers are indirectly paying for the war, if by nothing else, in lost opportunities to improve prosperity. This Iraq war contributes to the decline of America, so this must be what the rest of the world wants since they accept the dollar and the U.S. presents in Iraq.

You know that money is still going to be used by the military, they pay the soldiers salaries, and they need to maintain the weapons and vehicles plus develope and create new ones. Plus, all of that money is going into the American economy because it is being paid to American companies that are producing these goods and hard working men and women.

The money is going to the american economy, but it is just being paid for by other americans. There's no new money being created, only money being funneled from one set of americans (taxpayers), to another set of americans (millitary contractors). This doesn't create wealth, only shift it, and you're losing money from a very demanding middleman (the war) in the process.
