Interesting, but ultimately no cigar. I mean really, good idea, but not a pure one. I guess nothing is pure. It is best taken within the context of his full body of work. His point is that originality is becoming rare and as we imitate the media images we see we all become good little workers for the imperialistic corporatocracy that controls the media.

BTW, if you are half baked maybe you should get completely baked.

@Rogeetar Yes, but then you have to add "Don't drink the water (fluoride), don't eat processed food, don't drink apartame, don't drink alcohol, don't eat altered fats, etc, etc. He is talking about culture. I don't know if he ever did, but I never heard Terence speak about eating organic or drinking pure water. His death could have been the result of too much drug use, bad living habits, or both. Too much of anything is bad. Know thyself. That is the secret of balance.

@rimind1 Thank you for the high compliments, though I really feel behind the times. I hope to capture some higher quality didgeridoo playing soon, as this was recorded on a $20 mp3 player at a public market so the quality wasn't much to start with. I am blessed to live in an area brimming with musicians and artists of every stripe, I can find buskers playing a few blocks from my house on any given day and the relative number of didg players is quite high so I think I will buy a better recorder.

@YESMMJ Thanks! We are basically born tripping, then gradually our reality is largely formed by our cultural perceptions. Green is a color because we say it is. When green becomes a sound or a wave then things start to get interesting. Most people don't need psychedelics and that is good because tripping people don't make good drivers or technicians, but the arts need those willing to step out of accepted reality and remind us that there is more to existence than our daily perceptual reality.
