The best extreme metal album ever made. Those 10 essential tracks just hammer past. The production is near on perfect, the subject matter is the most atrocious ever, even the cover artwork smacks you in the face! You could argue that there is more brutal metal out there, but no band has ever got it all together on one album as good as slayer did 25 years ago! This masterpiece has never been topped by any band since, and i dont think it ever will be.
