  • an amazing compilation, i'd never seen some of this, including that portion post shooting as the limo cleared the triple underpass... was looking for Dan Rather as he there waiting for a film drop. I wonder what agent Hill thought was so funny @ 2:30....??

  • Great compliation of videos. And the radio broadcast; I've heard bits of it before but thanks for the additional reports which I hadn't heard.

  • I wonder if the people waving at 6:33, on the other side of the overpass, had any idea what had happened.

  • @MrCzechers Obviously not .. from where they were they probably couldn't see what happened in Dealy Plaza.

  • @MrCzechers Dan Rather was there on other side waiting for a film drop... he knew something was up... Some of the people near the TSBD seemed clueless..

  • i like how Gov Connolly took his hat off for Jackie.. so dumb for a president to be riding in an open limo in 1963 or 1959 for that matter.. @ 3:58 JFK waving, used to famously by the in laughable film JFK by Stone..

  • @irish89055 Presidents always rode in open cars -- kind of a duh. And they weren't shot at except for the attempt on FDR. What's laughable is the poor (and planned) Secret Service protection and the asinine Warren Report.

  • @SuperBandstand A raincoat and a fedora. These same two items can be seen being carried away from the limousine while at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, by a Secret Service agent.

  • Peter... this is excellently done. Kudos. I feel if some of this footage was not so shaky.. it would tell many tales. Thanks for doing this. I know it had to be a labor of love... and I know it took some doing.

  • thanks for sharing. It feels like we're watching it live. Good job.

  • I wish all Americans( myself included) had the balls to act on our "right of revolution" From a thing called The Declaration of independence. Our Government is scum they can't kill a couple hundred million of us at once can they? Wake up our Government is leading us down Elm street!! I think we know how that ends

  • @pearlofprice Well said!

  • someone should do a historical movie on this like start with the election of 1960 to the cuban missile crisis to the assassination

  • great work, ive studyed most of this footage theres a lot of tricks and fackery in most of this footage....

  • Peter, this is a fine job you have done here.

    Michael, Denmark

  • The driver turned on the headlights, along with the high beams, after the shooting. Back then you trained a proffesional driver to become an agent instead, of training an agent to become a defensive driver. Proir to the shooting, the limo only had on the flashing red lights. on the bumper

  • President Kennedy says something to the person holding the camera at 3:08 , but i cant make it out what he says

  • @MARYVALE12 It looks to me like, "how are ya?" or "how ya doing?"

  • Erm, 6:00 dead - looks a lot like the driver turns around, points a gun and shoots JFK...

  • @theh0bb0 it's been confirmed that he was not shot by the driver.

  • @xalxican01 ya think???

  • WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN ON HIS DETAIL

  • American History
