I did a full 4 in the Legion and I agree that although this wasn't their best routine, the WHOLE clip is not up here...the ladies really put on a show at this battle. It was like the video came to life....like TomazHiltion said, Hot Ice dances to fit the song...if you've seen the real Remember the Time video, you'll know see what I mean.

pbsstep1914...it's not a personal attack, but have you seen the majority of Hot Ice's routines? For a battle, they normally have a theme or theatrics of some sort, but trust me, it's not to cover up lack of technique...at least they don't act out a whole scene of Coming To America or have a full out fashion show....those dancelines shall remain nameless...lol

The better teams are always hated. Also, at least NSU is bold enough to try creative things and not shake and grind like some 2 cent hoe dance squads I have seen. I did not care for the dance much, but overall they are a comprehensive dance squad. Inez Howard is an educated dance instructor.

Speaking as a pro dancer and choreographer, some of the move were tacky and just ugly (Turn at 0:10). If you're gonna do a battement (0:07), DO ONE!!! I've seen 10 year olds dance better than that and with better extension. Whether it was jazz, ballet, modern, or hip-hop moves. The costumes were way too elaborate. It was nice in concept, but the final project was reminiscent of toilet paper. The flaps should have been shorter. I wouldn't have been surprised if one of the girls had tripped.

This was an indoor battle of the bands. This routine was never performed on the field. As far as the South thing I think you have to give people down South more credit. As I recall they outdid BBS of MoB on the field in 01 and were very well received. Poor NSU why can't they be exactly like everybody else?

Actually Golden Delight did not get stomped on! Their styles are so different! So one team couldn't have possibly made the other one look bad!! I think the Rocky theme/Girl Fight them and the team push-up. and the basket toss was way more intriguing than their usual impersonations of Michael Jackson!
