For example, the "leopard" in Daniel 7 symbolizes Alexander the Great and Greece, but ALSO Obama and America!

Remember, the prophecy Daniel received covered the Greco-Roman empire. Jesus lived during the Roman empire. The Roman empire no longer exists. You are attempting to revive a dead prophecy and apply it to modern kingdoms.

What was ongoing in Daniel's prophecy and continue even after his death was the establishment of the new word order of his time, that is, Greco-Rome. Jesus lived under Rome so it would make sense for him to refer to Daniel's prophecy.

First, He had the power to raise up the physical temple they were standing in, second, He would raise up His own body on the third day, and third, He will raise up His body, the Church in the end times after it has been trodden under by the Gentiles for 3 years. Also, read Revelation 17:9 where the 7 heads symbolize 7 mountains AND 7 kings.

Never has there been a temple re-erected in three days. The temple Christ refers to is his body. You are imposing private interpretation onto the scripture.

If the angel's interpretation is all there is, why does Daniel say in verse 27 that none could interpret it? In verse 13, one of the "saints" (Elijah) refers to the abomination of desolation. If the events in chapter 8 were concluded at the end of the Persian realm, why does Jesus refer to this passage as a future prophecy? The same with the AOD in Daniel 12:11. This is also future prophecy.

When you come to think of it and realize that it's too vague, but also written by some common men... not prophets. A hundred years from now other 'prophets' will stand up with entirely different explanations for the Biblical end times prophecies. That I can guarantee you. E.g. in the Bible in Revelations it says something "Hornets with faces of men" would that specify that there will be hornets with faces of men? This is a false prophet because he gave us 20 months before the wrath is to come. I am in disagreement with his assesment of who is under the alter of God asking how long until their blood would be avenged. These are the believers in Christ after the rapture who were beheaded for their faith in Christ and did not take the mark of the beast. Read Num. 21. What God has blessed, no one can revoke it. It also says the gifts and callings are without repentence. Jugdement comes after the rapture!

The souls under the altar cry out for vengeance because they are aborted babies who had no choice in shedding their blood. God will grant them vengeance after a certain number have been killed. So, having been in the military myself, I believe your other real duty is to follow orders to the best of your ability. I agree with you about England's participation in recent wars (notice, I left out the American Revolution).

That's why Jesus referred to Daniel, and ONLY Daniel, when He was telling His disciples about the End Times. Why the dual prophecy? Because the accuracy of Daniel's near time prophecies prove that his End Times prophecies will also be fulfilled to the letter. For example, the "leopard" in Daniel 7 symbolizes Alexander the Great and Greece, but ALSO Obama and America!

@thirdeaglebooks Jesus referred to one prophecy of Daniels (abomination of desolation,) and that prophecy was a continuum, extending to the occupation of Judea by Rome. Remember, the prophecy Daniel received covered the Greco-Roman empire. Jesus lived during the Roman empire. The Roman empire no longer exists. You are attempting to revive a dead prophecy and apply it to modern kingdoms.

What was ongoing in Daniel's prophecy and continue even after his death was the establishment of the new word order of his time, that is, Greco-Rome. Jesus lived under Rome so it would make sense for him to refer to Daniel's prophecy.

First, He had the power to raise up the physical temple they were standing in, second, He would raise up His own body on the third day, and third, He will raise up His body, the Church in the end times after it has been trodden under by the Gentiles for 3 years. Also, read Revelation 17:9 where the 7 heads symbolize 7 mountains AND 7 kings.

Never has there been a temple re-erected in three days. The temple Christ refers to is his body. You are imposing private interpretation onto the scripture.

Dan 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having [two] horns [are] the kings of Media and Persia.
The end is referring to the end of the Persian realm. Read vs 26 and it tells you the vision of the end days revolves around the Persian realm.

If the angel's interpretation is all there is, why does Daniel say in verse 27 that none could interpret it? In verse 13, one of the "saints" (Elijah) refers to the abomination of desolation. If the events in chapter 8 were concluded at the end of the Persian realm, why does Jesus refer to this passage as a future prophecy? The same with the AOD in Daniel 12:11. This is also future prophecy.

End times Bible prophecy sounds interesting, but is interpreted vastly different by many. When you come to think of it and realize that it's too vague, but also written by some common men... not prophets. A hundred years from now other 'prophets' will stand up with entirely different explanations for the Biblical end times prophecies. That I can guarantee you. Of course, you won't be there to see this come true. You will, however, live long enough to see that your prophecy is incorrect.

Of all my years studying scripture. I learned 1 important thing: Watch the symbols, especially recurring ones and always compare the Prophets against Revelation. Keep in mind many "small" anti-christs have come and gone throughout the centuries but now that there is a concerted effort afoot to bring all the nations under one Government (one rule) that would be the harbinger of the "final" and main Anti-Christ. The world is going to see some pretty horrible things become normal and legal.

Absoultely, they is NO such thing as good Protestants, it may be true that those seperated( Protestants) may have good QUALITIES, but this has nothing to do with meriting salvation. A heretic is one who denies a Dogma or Dogma's of the Catholic Church as you do. The Catholic church has cleary defined that heretic's or protestants can not share in eternal life unless they are united to the Church before their death.

@Catholic710 I disagree in "no such thing as a good Protestant". In Revelation 14:2-3 they are described as "singing a new song". It's interesting that some of the world's greatest religious music was written by Protestant composers like Bach, Handel, Mozart and Beethoven, some of which is performed in Catholic Churches. Handel's "Messiah" is perhaps the greatest religious work ever composed. Actually, many Protestants profess the Apostle's Creed. It's pro-abortion Catholics who bother me.

I disagree.. the Bible also says that no man can predict when the end times will be. When you say that the end times will be when Obama is in power then you are basically predicting the time the end times will be, the time Obama is in office.
Matthew 24:36 (NIV) - "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
You can back this up all you want with scripture, but there's a reason why this scripture is in the bible. No one knows except God.

@thirdeaglebooks God speaks in scripture through mysterious ways my friend. The Bible is not straight forward in its teachings in some cases. E.g. in the Bible in Revelations it says something "Hornets with faces of men" would that specify that there will be hornets with faces of men? Or rather a group of Apache helicopters coming in from the horizon of something of the sort?

@thirdeaglebooks I believe when God or Jesus says "No man will know the day or hour" then He's saying No one will know the time the end times will be. I believe that when He says "day or hour" then that's specifying time.
For all we could know, we might very well be living in the end times. It probably already happened without us knowing. Although I doubt it, it is a possibility.
