I agree with you on the set and scenery...I didn't like it either. But I beg to differ about this singer. I thought it was technically / vocally great. I thought the low G was placed perfectly.

Impressive !
Great voice and tremendous presence. Ok the G didn't boom the way some contraltos can but this was one hell of a performance.

Not bad. Great rich voice, but technically far from perfect. But the messy ending with unstable bottom G is a little bit dissapointing.
The scenery is miserable, by the way.
