its interesting that your husband has chosen CAD for his voc rehab and had it accepted. I'm wondering if he has successfully found work it the field. I'm an injured tradesman and have been referred to Voc Rehab. I went through the apt/voc psych testing and came out in the top 90% percentile and Voc Rehab will not sponsor me for anything other than trades education - which is ironic because I'm incapable of performing manual labour.

Uh WSBC informed them that WSBC was going to arrange and get a plan approved. Don't worry when WSBC has something ready for U they damn well let you know. If they don't and you phone them you are subject to the most drippingly condescending shitty replies you could imagine. Part of their psychological strategy IS keeping you off balance and never knowing what is going on. Hope you get to try it out sometime when you have an expensive injury they want to punish you for!

"Early and Safe Return To Work " WCB preaches... Lorne's claim shows evidence that he did not have clearence to return to work,(april 15th 2005 he broke his back in three places) starve,starve,starve the injured worker and his chlidren he returned to work. September 19th 2005 just one month after returning to work...he fell and shattered both arms in 13 places.

The program should be called just " Early Return to work ".

I do believe Lorne did some drywall in van in his younger days. He was untill 2005 working here in Vancouver Island, making fuckin' great cash,with great guys he liked (which doesn't fuckin' come easily ha ha) finally at a place in his life he was truely happy with. At the time of his injury he was working for an amazing little company that did 'high end work'They treated Lorne like a million dollars...... "Designer Drywall" He was happy. Now he is a shell of his former self and is not happy :(

I am so very sorry FIXWCBCANADA, this is exactlly what injured workers are talking about,WCB Adjudicators should not have the power to over ride an MD decisions/recommendations. WCB Should also not be allowed to force injured workers back to work on serious medications. They did the exact same thing to Lorne...which is how the second serious accident happened. 2 SERIOUS WORKPLACE ACCIDENTS in 5 months..... Fuckin' Dirty Bastards......
