Thanks a lot, you show me once more that Mali has something in the water that make you people to sind directly to the soul and blod. Which language is this?
Hey, Muitobrigado!, muchas gracias, de verdad Mali tiene algo en el agua que hace que ustedes canten tan delicioso. En que' idioma cantan?
I'm from Rwanda. This music is simply fantastic. The sound of the kora is so great. Viva Mali. No need to understand the words, the music speaks for self.
ohhhh Africa soul place !!!!!! am from Ethiopia but I like the music even If I didn't understand what he saying but the music going street to my heart ,,, bless man
ELe tocou o essa semana em minha cidade no Brasil!! Não o conhecia musicalmente , mas achei pUnk , mt bom!!! assim como outros musicos africanos como mirian makeba , etc..
I think African culture has remains in Mali. This make me proud when I see my African people the culture. Great Video though I dont understand what he is saying , I do understand body language. Bravo Adam my brother!
Africa is the ONLY place on earth where music is still alive and comes from the soul, there is no money for music in Africa and there are no record sales so the music is made for the heart and soul
@RuellAuled all music is recieved by the "soul" so in time ahead all modern music will become traditional music and in time be played as the music of soul. Not even most traditional songs came from the "soul", and for me the most soulfull of music was Duke Ellington's which was written using knowledge, not emotion. I'm not disagreeing with you, just pointing out that less soulness can sometimes advance music (in the generation to proceed)
@RuellAuled Tell that to all the jazz musicians and classical musicians (especially composers) all over the Europe, the US, South America, and Asia. LITTLE to NO money is made, and in fact people work full time jobs just to support their own materials for music in their "free time".
When the actual music begins at :36, the sound seems distorted for a few seconds. Was something altered in this video, (as have been watching it many times since August, and seem to be picking up some subtle alteration.) However, it still remains super, and one of my Malian faves.
With every Mali music video I see, I love it more and more. They're all consistently beautiful, with the most gorgeous and haunting music. Mali music is so unique and so special. Never heard such music! Thanks for the video, Musicofmali!
im bengali, and i love this song,i dont understand a word of it!but it depicts a picture of awonderful culture the beat is so cheery and fun, long live culture and everything that fuses to make it!!
Yes. I am congolese myself, and while I agree that Congolese music is the BEST in the world I also have admiration for Malian music. I LOVE it almost as much as I love my own. And Malian women and men have such tremendously resonating and sensous voices - it brings chills to the back when heard!!!!!!! ALL my respect, MALI.
I know!!!! my personal favourite musician from West Africa is Habib Koite... That guy is nothing short of brilliant. Talk about having a resonating voice and melodious RAW acoustic guitar playing to accompany it!

I love Malian african music in particular, it is one of my favourites. It is just so perfect, people hear it and they have to love it. Mali for ever.
But when I start working, I will dedicate resources to Africa. I believe Africa is rich, I want to help realising its potential.
Love from Ukraine & sunny Black Sea, to more sunny Mali :)
