I have watched countless YouTube videos of Ron Paul just to learn more about liberty. This must be my favorite of all RP videos, makes me want to stand up and cheer loudly. Whether you are religious or not, the examples he pointed out correlate perfectly to what is going on today. This was probably one of the best speeches he ever gave and his tone was much different too, very direct and a lil more intense than usual.

Ron Paul would rather us go back to having wallstreet running the show rather than moving us forward by repelling Dodd-Frank a law which set to regulate corporate greed. Ron Paul in that sense is no different from any of the other GOP candidates. I believe he also talked about repelling Sarbanes-Oxley a law on accounting reform, which would in essence bring us back to the ENRON days of cooking the books.

i dont see any reason why atheists should be turned off by ron paul when he appeals to religion, because when he does so, he simply points out moral principles that everyone can agree on and defends them logically; or he cites stories that have messages that are relevant to everybody, whether they are christians or not.

I really like Ron Paul, but I don't understand his anti-abortion stance. Where is the civil liberty in that? Is it just to appease the fundamentalist-Christian conservatives? I hope he at least leaves it up to the states. He is the best candidate, but this stance is a bit hypocritical.

@surfwhm Where are the civil liberties for the baby? Doesn't the baby have a right to life? Who will protect the baby's life?? If you want a choice, choose NOT to have sex. There are consequences to everything. Sometimes when you have sex, someone's gonna get pregnant.
But look at Article I Section 8 of the constitution. Every state should decide if Abortion is murder or not, NOT the federal government.

Never thought I'd live long enough to be called an extremist for opposing the killing of babies in the womb. Does it matter? Ron Paul wants states to make the laws. The republicans will likely win regardless if it is Ron Paul, Gingrich, Santorum, or Romney.
The difference is that 3 of these candidates want to ban abortion on the Federal level (and gay marriage).
I don't know any moderate that wants the Federal government dictating any mandatory laws that go against states laws, so likely you are talking about liberal fanatics or neo-con nutjobs.

Very powerful speech and video! I've noticed that all of Dr. Paul's speeches are all sincere with integrity and conviction, and aren't read from a piece of paper. They're all extemporaneous speeches! @mondiablue The minimum wage is unconstitutional. A person is supposed to have a right to the pursuit of happiness meaning their right to charge as little or as much as they can get for their labor. You nor a union should have the power to dictate to others how much or how little they charge for labor. Furthermore, unions don't allow competing unions or individuals in the labor market. unions have a labor monopoly.

I have watched countless YouTube videos of Ron Paul just to learn more about liberty. This must be my favorite of all RP videos, makes me want to stand up and cheer loudly. What a great man and defender of freedom and the Constitution! He truly understands the proper role of government. Whether you are religious or not, the examples he pointed out correlate perfectly to what is going on today. This was probably one of the best speeches he ever gave and his tone was much different too, very direct and a lil more intense than usual.

Ron Paul would rather us go back to having wallstreet running the show rather than moving us forward by repelling Dodd-Frank a law which set to regulate corporate greed. Ron Paul in that sense is no different from any of the other GOP candidates. I believe he also talked about repelling Sarbanes-Oxley a law on accounting reform, which would in essence bring us back to the ENRON days of cooking the books.

So unless the system undergoes a massive overhaul, those that have much to gain from pushing the man-made climate change theory will continue to push their agenda, and corner the market on climate science. And with a virtually unlimited supply of taxpayer dollars to maintain this monopoly, any legitimate, independent scientific inquiry into climate change will remain in the shadows.

Just some facts : Ron Paul pledged(during the plan to restore America speech) that he would accept the US median wage of 39k/yr. as Presidential salary if elected.Ron Paul returns a portion of his congressional budget each year.Ron Paul has never voted for a pay increase.Ron Paul does not take park in the lucrative govt pension plan.Put the rest of the candidates to this test.This man has integrity,and is more than a politician he's the last true Statesman.

i dont see any reason why atheists should be turned off by ron paul when he appeals to religion, because when he does so, he simply points out moral principles that everyone can agree on and defends them logically; or he cites stories that have messages that are relevant to everybody, whether they are christians or not.
