Hello, The reason it is electric is because the Warrior motors have a nasty tendency to self destruct and further more this unit was built for medium performance . This unit has about 106 hours of operation on it and only chain maintenance and chassis lubrication is the only work done on this and this includes the seat being recovered and lights added. she has power behind it and good front brake, i'm impressed... BTW all i have for sale right now is the motor we discussed and a 1.5 / 4 hp motor 36v-48v that one is going for 250+shipping,, and some in wheel hub motor with controller 48volts
