open ssh on the 2.1 iphone ipod firmware and get free apps! part1

its because you need to install a free apps from itunes first and you need mobileinstallion too then it work

Ok...I have an ipod touch jailbroken 2.1 firmware and everything. I put autolock to never, I checked the IP address in the wifi settings AND with an app called whatIP...it's still saying connection timed out!!

does this have anything to do with the fact that im using my neighbour's router? >_>

dude yes!!! that is the stupidest question ever. why would you ask that? you need to be connected to your computer to get into your ipod period. you know what don't even try because your going to fuck it up i just know it.

This isn't working. I've installed and reinstalled open SSH many times and i rebooted it afterwards. I have an iPod Touch firmware 2.1. When i try to log in on winSCP an error pops up and says "server unexpectedly closed network connection." What's wrong?

I just updated my 3g to 2.1 and after jailbreaking it I tried to ssh it but after Im done and I re-start it it gets stuck on the pineapple, and I have to reset it to factory settings and jailbreak it again, can you tell me what Im doing wrong?? thnx

i unlock/jlbrk my iphone with quickpwn but then it says "different sim detected" with my t-mobile simcrd in it, then i tried to open "ssh" to remove the lock that is not letting me use my phone, but i don't have a ip address on my v2.1 iphone like you do.

i don't use IPA files. IPA is all itunes related. they basically trick itunes into thinking you bought them when you didn't with a change of the price and purchaser account information in the IPA file coding . i bought the app asphalt i was just using it as an example. if someone you know has a jail broken device and they buy apps you like you can take them off of their device and put them onto yours for free. and vise versa for them too.

why do you say that? are you getting some kind of error or something?? or is the icon not showing up on the springboard because open ssh does not have an icon but it will be installed.
