I love this song. I truly my husband and I were brought together for a reason. We have been together for almost 35 yrs. In 1998 he had a heart attack and I was there to get him to the hospital. In 2007 he had a stroke and was not expected to survive, but I was there to get to the hospital again. Now in 2011 we are still here together taking 1 day at a time.

This song makes me think about my husband and I. We were together back in 1981 and broke up within a year, only to be reunited about 5 years later, and after another year and a half we were married, had two children that have grown up now, and this year will be our 23rd anniversay. Yes we've had our ups and downs but true love finds ways to work things out, no matter how hard. He had a heart attack nearly 3 yrs. ago, but a bi-pass saved his life, "Thanks to the Keeper of the Stars"

i suggest you learn to sing it.continue to sing it until you know it by heart. then sing it without the music. there is not much you can to about it until a rocker or something come out with it. Even then the words will still be the same

less country? All you need to do is sing. i dont believe it is to be a country song but a love song. He is thanking God for being so loving and caring and meticulous.So if you sang it to the most gangster of girls then i believe she will see the heart in it before the way it was sang. Women are like that, they could be the hardest case ever but a good love song always makes them wish they had what the song implies. so try it out and right back.

My mother loved this song. Around the time this came out a stray cat showed up around our house and sat on the back steps for 3 days. We fed him and let him in. He because a great source of amusement and took my parents minds off of their aches and pains. My mother used to say The Keeper of the Stars sent him to us. Miss you both mom and dad and now Smokey too. So long gone from this earth but still remembered in my heart.

This is the song my husband and I danced to for our first dance at our wedding in Sept. of '99'. It's been Our Song since we started dating in July of '97'. The funny thing is we first met in 1989 while working together at a summer job and he had a crush on me and didn't tell me. Then 8 years later we run into each other and hit it off! Before you know it, we're happily married now almost 12 years and we have 2 great kids! I believe we were meant for each other! This song just describes us!
