There is no victory in the situation both family suffered a great lost. If you take a look at his sister she can not even still believe that he did this. But, his wife family I pray for them healing is going to be a lifetime deal. I would not be surprise that someone is helping him hide, this case is too well publicise for him not to be caught or seen.
I don't think Fisher is dead. Reason being - he brought along the family dog with him when he fled to Tonto. Had he turned a gun on himself, the dog would have stayed with the body and never left it. Instead, the dog was found wondering around in the forest dehydrated with porcupine quills in the side of its face (it recovered and was adopted by a new family).
I think he killed himself. I just find it hard to believe that he could have stayed gone for this long and I definitely think if he had just left the car there 24 hours prior and wasn't found after an extensive search, then he probably went there to find a cave & take his life.

Probably not, because he'll probably do the same thing again if she decides to leave. He would be legally entitled to see his kids, she would probably win custody, though. I believe he did. I think he killed them out of a psychological aspect - he realized that he didn't want to put them through a divorce, so he killed them. Like I said, one of his coworkers said he thought the world of his kids. I think if there is anyone he showed hatred towards in that house, it was Mary - she was shot in addition to having her throat slit. Detectives refer to that as the "fuck you" shot. What happened in Robert's childhood is no excuse for his actions.

Oh, I wouldn't say that at all. Mary absolutely loved her kids. In fact, she took Bobby to a hunter's safety course that he wanted to go to the night of the murders. She spent a lot of time and money on them and also managed to teach some of their sunday school classes. I think Robert wanted to keep the marriage together for himself and not everyone else. He didn't want a divorce because he would be viewed as a failure then.

In addition, there were numerous sightings in Grand Isle, Louisiana around 2003-2004 of Robert that really got the FBI happy for whatever reason. An AMW episode from a year or two ago said most tips have been coming in from Mexico as of late. One of the original detectives on the case felt Robert had fled to an english speaking resort town in Mexico, and I'm starting to believe that.

@KOHF34 so u think he has a mexican wife only and no kids? With a cane and what not, how could he be supporting himself or her? cuz in mexico, mostly men are the breadwinners.

I'm sure he's saved up money somehow. He's done well so far - three more months and he'll hit the 11 year mark. It's just as likely that he's on his own. Either way, he's more than likely in a warm climate. Reason being, cold weather is going to aggrevate his back. Keep in mind, it just takes one mistake for him to slip up. It may take years, but he's going to make that one mistake.

@KOHF34 ok, u make sense. but if he has a wife how could he be supporting her with just saved up money and no job? in mexico and elsewhere, usually men are the main primary breadwinners and women dont work much. i dont know if he'll be caught ever.

I believe he did. I think he killed them out of a psychological aspect - he realized that he didn't want to put them through a divorce, so he killed them. Like I said, one of his coworkers said he thought the world of his kids. I think if there is anyone he showed hatred towards in that house, it was Mary - she was shot in addition to having her throat slit. Detectives refer to that as the "fuck you" shot. What happened in Robert's childhood is no excuse for his actions.

@KOHF34 i agree. what he did was sick. no doubt about it. If he did remarry and have kids once more, do u think he'd do the same again if his wife wanted to leave?

I do, and evidently the FBI does. Reason being, he either must have a criminal record or be considered a threat to society to be a Top Tenner. He doesn't have a criminal record, so I'm sure you can draw a conclusion from that. He's been on the list longer than most top tenners, but some have gone 10-16 years before being caught. Someone will recognize him.

@KOHF34 but u said he used to talk so fondly of his kids at work and that he killed them out of rage and not wanting to have them see a divorce. what about that? He was willing to stay with her for them but she wasn't.

Oh, I wouldn't say that at all. Mary absolutely loved her kids. In fact, she took Bobby to a hunter's safety course that he wanted to go to the night of the murders. She spent a lot of time and money on them and also managed to teach some of their sunday school classes. I think Robert wanted to keep the marriage together for himself and not everyone else. He didn't want a divorce because he would be viewed as a failure then.

Like I said, I think he considered that, but I think he was more worried about maintaining his image as a family man following God. People who love their kids don't slit their throats, I hope you realize that.

In addition, there were numerous sightings in Grand Isle, Louisiana around 2003-2004 of Robert that really got the FBI happy for whatever reason. An AMW episode from a year or two ago said most tips have been coming in from Mexico as of late. One of the original detectives on the case felt Robert had fled to an english speaking resort town in Mexico, and I'm starting to believe that.
