The ten year old girl was obviously doing something harmful or the officer would not have used his taser. I used to be a security officer and kids did try my patience just because they knew they were kids and assumed I would just put up with them. Just because they are children does not excuse bad behaviour.

The use of tasers in the States is totally out of hand. The taser should not be used as a "obey my command or get tazed" device, or to punich an unco-operative citizen, but as a last resort weapon, second only to a real firearm. Cops need to ask themself, would i shoot this person with my service weapon in this situation? Because if the answer is not, then don't taze them. The US is so screwed up in this regard, the cops there are like jack booted Nazis and act with no regard for citizens.
