Hiked in on the Hickory Ridge trail and had to cross 4 times to connect with rough ridge trail last weekend(Dec 4, 2009). Then had a 8 mile hike in 4 inches of snow to get back to my car. my shoes were froze solid next morning, had to thaw them with boiling water. other than that it was a good overnighter. You know the couch people think we are crazy.

First time I hiked into there we got to the river after dark. Needless to say we got a little wet. It was November so it was purdy chilly.
