  • whats that called

  • i love u guys that dont know physics. what makes earth have gravity ? ohh yha magnetism . impossible , what is impossible ,nothing is impossible ,accept the state of your mind makes it so

  • Fucking magnets how do they work?

  • where do i get one of those from

  • Fun thingy? REALLY? Learn to say TOP!!!

  • fucking magnets

  • pfff Chuck Norris does this while he sleeps

  • why does it seem to be the general ideal that spinning physical objects will generate "anti gravity" when we look outside gravity is all around us show me what it physically looks like and then ill spin it and create anti gravity. first we have to understand what gravity is. its impossible for the spin of the earth to create gravity, u set an object on any sphere anywhere then spin it, does it not get slung off? even in space? i never been but i theorize that it does.

  • lol it ain't defying gravity, its a magnet under the plastic plate that is holding the spining thing off the table, mythbusters you an exact replica.........

  • a wheel within a wheel could solve the puke problem!

  • It's magic, ooh!

  • we are almost there.... the blocks that were playing before like cars became true, the paper airplanes came true, and more.... just keeps going and theres no stop.... but we are still far,,, too far to understand our celestial brothers....

  • If you're intending to eventually apply that technology to manned flying contraptions, you might as well go back to the drawing boards now

That's not going to work. There are laws against drinking & driving because operating a vehicle while drunk makes you crash

What do you think is going to happen to the people inside of that thing while its spinning around like that? There's going to be vomit splattered all around the inside walls of that UFO

  • No, only the drive is spinning, or the outer shells. There is no torque effect, and in field propulsion, you feel nothing because G-forces and inertia are canceled out.

  • Even if they weren't drunk, they won't be able to see out with vomit all over the windows

Even without spun drunk & vomit, what are they going to see out the windows anyway, with all that spinning? How they gonna drive?

You gotta have bathrooms. Spinning around like that, nobody is going to piss even one drop inside the toilette. Now you're going to have a UFO full of vomit and piss too

Whatever planet they go to they're not going to be welcomed, that's for sure

  • Comment removed

  • what sport was that on the TV ?

  • Comment removed

  • Go to Edmunds Scientific to buy one of these.

  • HAHA funny! i like to play it make magnet for push magnet away

  • Can you show how to make this please ?

    Thanks

  • magnetic repulsion gyro stabilized. Thats why it spins. Blue box has a magnet in it that repels the spinning top

  • o shit! He's got a gamecube!

  • bend over

  • Gotta let you down and say that every black man I have met have been straight. Just because you sleep with many black men doesnt mean that every black person are gay^^

  • sk8ers r gay.

  • hey skaters arnet gay neither r black people(except for Micheal Jackson)

  • the only pplz that defy gravity are SKATERS!!!!!!

  • magnets

  • lol flip your game controller over you're fuckin the sticks up

  • this whole video is annoying as hell.

  • Its like people have never heard of magnets

  • sounds like another word for witchcraft!

  • i bought the same thing very cheap in china, but they didn't let me bring it on the plane... :(

  • because this thing would have catapulted the plane into outer space.

    - very clever the security guys these days.

  • hey ive got that thing what weights did you put on it cus ive never been able to get it right

  • Defy Gravity? DEFY GRAVITY!??!

    NO ONE DEFIES GRAVITY!!!!!!!!

Gravity should give you a right spanking.

  • pass a piece of metal between the base and the spinning magnet. what happens? oops!

  • this is real lol its a toy for kids but its pritty cool i see one

  • are u watching cricket there u noob

  • its called a magnet

  • It's not even spinning, go play on your nintendo some more. People are getting dumber by the generation.

  • And right now you are setting quite a good example as the stupidest person of your generation.

Yes it's spinning, even if you can't tell from the video. Do you know why a spinning top stays upright while it spins on the ground? It's because of the centripetal force.

Well guess what, magnetic waves can interact the same way normal forces from a surface do. Did it ever occur to you why the object is shaped like a spinning top?

  • hahah not spinning.... dumber by the generation....

Not spinning comment = proof we're getting dumber :-P

  • WOW

...und die größte bank der welt:die escoobank unterstützt diese technologie

/wahrlich eine neue ära der entwicklung des homo sapiens

  • Spin stabilized magnetic bearing. . .

  • Shut up. If you're so smart to know what it is, then why aren't you creating them?

  • because there are companies that makes them? because chinks sells them ass toys? because i've actually bought one on the chink store and it was only entertainment for about 1 minute? dont post retarded things next time..

  • You're a born liar. Entertainment for 1 minute? That's where your lie announced itself.

Get the fuck otta here clown.

  • lawls? sure then entertainment for 2 minutes? lawls.. seriousely thinking how retarded can a person be to post something this stupid

  • oh wait, nvm, you're a nig. dont really expect much better from you

  • A nig? interesting that you resort to that on a computer. Like I haven't heard that before everyday for the past 10 years.

Here's some food for your people. Try researching a way to NOT stink when water hits you, rather than fucking up on research in all other categories on earth.

  • lawls i actually just like calling peoples nigs. seriousely. do i give a fuck about your comments? dont anwser that. it's a rhetorical.anyways. just get the fuck out nigger

  • The response was so intellectual. Yet another *nigger* reply. Facts hurt I overstand.

Here's more facts: The SUN kills you. Burns you alive. Are those sun-ray repellants assisting any?

  • lawls orly? so that's why those niggers are so black

  • and i was starting to think that american europeans were the only racist whites. it seems people do hate and fear what is different no matter where they are.

  • That's pretty cool where do you get those things and what are they called?

  • magnetic toy

  • even in a vacuum gravity will cause friction and the spin of the earth has it's say

  • that symbol on the blueish purple part is the darmah initiative symbol from lost haha

and from what i know.. the people from lost experiment with electromagnetism..

  • lol i knew i had seen it before, ha ha, but yup your right this is a sweet as toy, its all magnets, what i find funny is the dude is watching lawn bowls on the telly WTF???

  • its actually because at the bottom there is a magnet, its a magnetic field, i have one of these... the bottom magnet is so strong it could go through youre hand like he showed us, and the top is so balanced it can be above it.....

  • How long can it continue spinning like that?

  • its origonally hand spun, as soon as that power runs out the top either bounces away or just hangs, suspended in air

  • ok well... could place something on it.. how much force does it take to push it back down.. or to make it fall... im just interested in how exactly it stays suspended,,, is it a magnet?

  • Get that stupid toy off the screen and show us the quarterfinals.

  • ufo

  • I seriously hope it didn't defy gravity... If it did that spinning object would not move with the earth lol

  • attach a couple of generators to a giant version of that thing and we have infinite energy. except that wed have to replace the magnets after a while

  • only if we place it in a vacuum.

  • lol! Who is going to spin it??!?!?! You have to use some energy to do that too you know :D

  • the point of a perpetual motion device is that the intial energy used to start the motion would be able to continue it. soo i dunno get 20 hobos off the street to spin the thing and give em 5 bux each.

  • No. If you attach generators to it you would be causing it to slow/stop spinning. At which stage you'd have to put more energy in to spin it again, more energy then you had generated. Yay for the zero-point lol.

  • yay for condecending remarks. lol

  • Magnets, I has dem.

  • I LOVE MAGNETS :D :D :D

  • i just had a thought do u think et's use our magnet energy from our north and south pole to defy gravity?

  • that would be just as realistic as using 1 liter of water to stop the sun from burning.

  • I have one of those, I bout it a toys r us for my brother.

  • I remember seeing a program on tv about this a fella back in the 40's or 50's was doing this nothing special really, just logic.

  • I guess if you meant "resist" by the word "defy" than yeah, okay. Semantics.

  • jimdidr, it's not just semantics. It's an incorrect statement. The word "defy" is very much like the word "violate", and a magnetic toy does not violate gravity any more than a helicopter violates or defies gravity by means of aerodynamic forces. The magnetic field COUNTERS gravity, here with a force equal to the tops gravitational attraction the earth. Gravity never left the equation.

Just collapse the magnetic field and the top will fall due to gravity as usual.

  • It's a magnetic [field] top!

  • TOOGREEN is more than dumb... showing of a pair of magnets and talking about antigravity...

  • haha. the first thought that came into my head was that they were obviously magnets.

  • burn the witch

  • yea if he was in th 16 se.they will burn him lol

  • magnets, duh.

  • Bella, è una trottola a levitazione magnetica, ce l'ho anche io :-)

  • Technically this does not defy gravity at all, any more than lifting it with your hand "defies" gravity. Gravity is alive and well in this device, just countered by the magnetic force. Gravity ountered yes, defied, no.

  • Is not going against something (that has been defined as a law, the law of gravity) technicly defying that law?

Its semantics but he is technicly correct :)

  • THE ALMIGHTY LEVITRON!

  • its using magnetic fielded to stay stable

  • lol, very simple to do. everyone who reads this , get a handfull of powerful magnets (there about $6.50 a piece) and just play around with them. get a piece of plexi-glass, a spoon and 8 magnets... set them up in a near sphere (kind of elliptical i guess). you can do some things that seem impossible. perpetual motion, antigravity, very high speeds. its fascinating to witness the power of magnets. anyway, just have fun with them and expand your knowledge.

  • Sort of how UFO's fly (some theories). Except they use the Earth's electromagnetic field.

  • Consider the Earth's magnetic poles. A scaled-up version could use the Earth as one of the magnets.

  • hi guy, i would like buy one of this magnet things.

    how can i buy?

    and how mach is it?

    thx zs

  • ITS A MAGNETIC FIELD HOLDING IT UP!

  • No duhhh THERE IS NO STRING BTW

  • it wouldnt float like that on a string, it would be more of a dangle. maybe if there are two strings, but it really looks like its floating. Magnetic fields can do that.

  • is that the insignia from lost? it kinda looks like the darma whatcha makalit. or the korean flag.

  • I want one. Lol.

  • there is no "anti-gravity" in the name of this video so u all retards stop to throw shit at toogreen just because its not anti-gravity disc

  • anti gravity- no

magnet- yes anti gravity is making an area with absolutly no gravity, this thing is two of the smae poles repelling eachother

  • not bad ,toogreen ... nicely done ..

  • how gay

  • i saw these at the shops there great but they were sellin them for $40 dollars ouch...

  • 40$ !! I got mine for about 3$ !

  • COOL NICE VID

  • man arnt magnets great

  • Too Green - you are an angry young man. Next time entitle your video spinning disk suspended with magnetism and don't mention gravity. Turn the cricket commentary off as well you numpty.

  • It's not "anti-gravity" like tagged. its a magnetic feild. A magnetic feild repels gravity.

  • Are you all fucking retarded? I just said It's "defying" gravity, that's a way of speaking, just say "repels" if you prefer, what's the fucking difference? Where the hell did I claim that it was some sort of anti-gravity technology? For god's sake I'm not dumb, I do know this is simply magnetic! Read between the fucking lines you shitfucks!

  • Thanks for saying it in a kind-hearted way...

  • Thanks for being retarded

  • You are very welcome.

  • you are stupid, toogreen! and it's you who has to READ more carefully.

f7497 said "It's not "anti-gravity" like tagged." and your tags for this video are: magnet ufo technology anti-gravity floating spinning amazing.

    Got it?

  • You guys are such a bunch of crybaby nerds! I know its in my tags, and obviously it was a great idea considering how many people came to watch my video! Of course its not anti-gravity but it's amusing and does look magical so I thought the anti-gravity nerds would like to see this toy as well!! But since you're acting all retarded about a stupid i'll just TAKE IT OUT ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!

  • old shit

  • OK now take an iron plate and place it under it XD

  • I have one of these. It's nothing special, just neat to look at.

  • The same goes if a magnet is cooled below zero (placed into liquid nitrogen) and then placed over another magnet with the opposite pole.

  • Look up "Levitron". The top shaped device is just that, a megnet in a spinning top. The base has an array of magnets that would repel the magnet in the top. But, since the top is spinning like a gyroscope, it remains steady over the array. It's a permanent magnet version of suspending a golf ball over the air outlet from a vacuum cleaner.

  • they didnt wave ther hand ova top

  • no big deal :)

  • it isn't defying gravity its obeying gravity, a force is just keeping it in the air.

  • yeah lol.. like when cavemen saw the first ipod

  • what's the dharma logo doing there?

  • That's totally what i thought too.

  • Its a little toy that Sawyer found in the cave in season 2 of Lost.

  • really...i'll have to check that out again

  • just google like magnetic flyer thing or whatever then order one

  • those r awsome i want 1

  • can someone tell me how to make this magnetic levitation device thanks

  • No "defying gravity" just magnetic levitation...

  • r u watching golf?

  • I love how silly toys can fool full grown adults

  • not levitation, only magnetic field action. when someone can show me a piece of wood or crystal or glass, tell me, this would be interesting.

  • it's what we call levitation ...

  • i would like to know how that is done can you let me know thank you.

  • An easier way to do this is by defrosting the fuel from asteroids. We did this in space, and collected it in jars. It was like buttermilk in consistency and and colour. We used it (don't need much) to get to another planet, but we were beaten there. We found construction offices like at a const. site, and water taps. We didn't know if this was just a parallel dimension, or if God told everybody how to build mistubishi vans. There weird bugs though. Creepy, dull place...

  • damn man you havent been to space.

  • We're in it right now. Some bugs were glowing green, but the water tasted like water. Gravitational pulls of planets were the tricky part but luckily my friend knew all about it, so I let him do most of the navigation, I just told him to wake me up if he saw anything cool or if needed help. We didn't stay on the planet long, a bit worried about being caught by whoever owned the mitsubishi's. Very grey and dull, this must have been the atmosphere.

  • levitron

  • It's actually a DVD cover, for the Chinese movie "The Banquet".

  • what is the name of the book under the magnet?

  • put some ice cubs under it, :P might see something u never saw before !

  • what happens?

  • Turn the goddamn TV off... I though that was you at first... Also, it's not really defying gravity, but fun to look at :)

  • same here

  • Yeah right like I didn't know ya clit

  • Then why say "defying gravity"?

  • its a magnet ya tit!
