To make the lines to fade while using the pen tool, you have to click three times. First time at the top, second time at the mid point and third time at the bottom. And then instead of using "soft sound" brush, you should use something like "soft round with pressure"
it took me awhile to figure out too, you just have to change the foreground color to white in order to make the lines to fade, the background color remains black, thought i would comment on this one so i wont forget the next time i need to watch this video again haha
its just a waste of time, it ll not work until u give how to make a line fade on both sides, settings h've not given on that side next steps r cleverly but its just like a home without foundation..............
@ritesh959 hi ritesh959! in order to fade both sides of the line, you have just have to check the simulate pressure after you right click with the Pen Tool "ON"... i hope it helps... ^_^

you can also make the lines fade at both ends by owning a graphics tablet :P
that way all you have to do is check the "pen pressure" box as shown.
great tutorial, very simple and easy if you can make those lines.
Thanks :D
