Its about the same, but theres no authorized GMC, Cadillac, US Chevy, Pontiac, etc. dealer in Denmark. In Denmark there are 2 dealers, who import US cars. E.g. a Mercedes-Benz GL 450. In the US: $64511. In Denmark: about $298035. When we buy a car we give the state 2! In denmark the duty is 180% Therefor many suv's with a trunk capacity more than "x" liters, are sold with yellow plates, which was 30% until 2 wks ago. Now its 60%. So next time You buy a car, think about me

Damn, I know what you are talking about, in denmark is cars expensive. But it issn't so much better here in norway eighter. A new Suburban with 8 seats, cost abt. 1.5 million Norwegian kroners, abt 250.000 dollars. thats because the state takes so much taxes.

Yeah, of course its great to have such a good health-system, and money for the homeless, but the taxes and duties here are TOO much... In Sweden theres no lack of anything either, but the cars only cost 1/3 in reference to Denmark... Luckily we are going overseas on summer holiday, and we'er gonna drive the 2007 Suburban "Southern Comfort"-conversion... I'm excited!! :-)

We can match: in Norway does a Chevy Suburban 2007 5.3L LTZ flexifuel cost: 1.55 million NOK + 20000 NOK + 3000 NOK. abt 260.000 USD. In sweden does the same car cost about 115.000 USD, thats over the half price v.s Norway. I think thats sick. And a Cadillac escalade ESV cost in swedens allmost the same. I norway, it cost allmost 2 million NOK.

Very many people think it's sick, because in norwegian the roads SUCK!!! And in sweden, the roads are premium.
