  • This guy is a robot. I'm sure you can find something that can read better.

  • @trinhk That's called "professionalism" :D

  • Just purchased...I set up and can view from my home wireless network but HOW do you get access through the internet?

  • @skid987 We have created a video tutorials "TRENDnet DIY: Viewing IP Camera over Internet Part 1" & "TRENDnet DIY: Viewing IP Camera over Internet Part 2". Unfortunately I wasn't able to link the videos, but they are also available on YouTube.

    Thanks,

    TRENDnet

  • Thanks Pixelpro80....I was able to work my way through the setup the other day via some help over the internet. I finally got it working where I could see it over the net...even on my Android phone.

However....about 24 hours after that, it started to malfunction. At first malfunction I could see all the settings from the web browser but video was missing. It got steadily worse. After a little while, it would not even pull an IP and lights were out. (cont.)

  • @skid987 ...Had to reset many times. At times it would work and at times it would not. Oh well...short story is that I called Newegg. They issued and RMA and I went ahead and purchased another which they shipped and I received today. I set this one up and so far it is working good. However, I unplugged and took to another room to test. At the first plug in, then camera just sat with the amber light. No start up motion. I reset and it is working.

  • @skid987 I hope this one works out. The first one was really GIMPY and finally cut out. The new one had one issue stated below.

I'll update this post as I continue to test the cam.

  • How do you configure it?

  • @franaphonic The IP camera comes with a Quick Installation Guide which shows users how to configure and setup the camera. You can download the Quick Installation Guide for any of our IP cameras at trendnet.com.

    Thanks,

  • Just bought this camera. Very easy to use and doesn't require paying for DNS service to view remotely from anywhere.
