  • Yes, I really did invent it and have the patent to prove it! I am aware of another 'version' which is sold in the stores (so people sometimes hear of that one first). Check out my website and the heirtage of the product will be clear: I literally invented something I really needed, after years of trying all the other options on the market. Others simply copy!

  • Nice video ..but did u really invent this?? isn't there something called an "Omega Part" that essentially serves the same purpose?..just wondering..but I hope to try a simi weave one day!

  • i just ordered one today but i how long does your hair have to be to put one in

  • Only 2 to 3 inches

  • Do you ever plan on having an afro style semiweave for the natural ladies, or will it always be for relaxed hair?

  • I replied ages ago but it didn't appear....anyway, our current selection can be worn with natural hair....my hair is 100% natural; I just press it at the front once a week. We introduced a natural range in 2005, which included a variety of afro, afro-kinky, afro-yaki, braided and twisted styles. The feedback was great, but sales weak. Do keep an eye on our website for the latest.

  • Keep up the great work Simi...and don't listen to jerks who are jelous that they didn't come up with the idea

  • THANK YOU!!! Also, no need to have relaxed hair with my product - just press your hair at the front. So it's also an alternative to chemicals! Yes, you can wear your hair up - leave a tiny bit out some out at the back, if you want it high up.

  • Can I wear my hair up with simiweave

  • I just had the pleasure of talking to you on the phone..I am the one with REALLY LOOONG name. That called about LUCY!!:) Just wanted to let you know you are an inspiration:)

  • How on earth are you helping the problem??? All you're offering black women is a weave in a different form. The whole point of the movie was to highlight the cumulative damage that weaving and relaxing your hair can cause. The sooner black women stop putting this crap in their hair the better.

  • Oh dear. Actually Rock highlighted the relaxer damage and the weave's high costs/time required. Weaves can deliver manageable hairstyles so will be around for a while longer. My invention cuts back on the time, money and inconvenience involved with weaves. I am helping by offering a quicker, more convenient and more affordable weave.

  • People need to realise that white people use weaves too. This movie should have highlighted that bit! At least our hair is strong enough to stand it

  • ! TOO TRUE!! women of all nationalities and enthnicities wear weaves...and for the record women have been wearing wigs FOR CENTURIES...eg.from ancient egyptians to Elizabethan England...... .

  • LOL..Hold your breath!

  • a weave .......in an affordable and less damaging form......THAT IS HOW SHE IS HELPING by giving women of all nationalities an innovative and affordable way to look and feel better

  • i didnt know you had a youtube account. how are you? (btw this is seena)

  • It all weave and that is what chris was talking about the hair from india.
