  • Use the wheel dude.

  • retardvillage

  • Why don't these "experts" ever know to do things properly?

The wheel is on the edger for a reason.

  • you are michael scotts brother

  • isn't the wheel supposed to roll on the concrete while you edge?

  • mine has a wheel and it seems to just cut trenches. What am I doing wrong?

  • Thanks for posting this. Quick and simple explination.

  • very imformative

  • yes you should. I mean, you COULD use your trimmer as an edger, but it would look really unprofesional. An edge removes overgrown grass thats moved on sidewalks or garden beds or driveways, and makes a nice clean cut. A trimmer trims the grass around the edge where its hard to get a push or reel mower in like around trees.

  • Do you still need a weedwacker if you have an edger?

  • Yea. You can use a weedeater/weedwacker as an edger. IF you knew how to control it properly.

  • @xpstou Yes. The edger is mostly for drive or walkways where you need a clean edge. The weed eater or string trimmer is for reaching areas your mower can't reach, like around poles or up against your house.
