I have related Ian McCormack's testimony many times to many people.Each time it is basically the same, but sometimes I include more, sometimes less according to the time available.Since I know Ian personally, and many times have heard him share expanded or more consise accounts according to the circumstances;sometimes he may give more emphasis to one aspect and other times a different emphasis will be given, but the testimony is still basically the same.....Bill is doing the same thing here....

@mystic81006 lol.. You are using the common fallacy called the argument from silence. Because the guy omitted part of his story, it doesn't mean it never happened and that bill's lying. This is so common, we hear it in media all the time from reporters and from people all the time. Some reporters don't put every detail into a story because they either feel it's not necessary, or just too much information, or they simply forgot. Sometimes, detail is omitted, so the point can be emphisized.

Healing does exist. God does exist, healing/miracles are like evidence if u like, of God's existence.
These people have a "faith of amazement" not a Saving Faith! The preaching of the Cross is foolishness to those that are perishing, if they would've preached repentance and faith on the intercom, people would've called the police! This wasn't offensive and it wasn't the Gospel.
If you listened to the rest of the story ("Grocery Store Healing Outbreak" by the person Bill is talking about) he DOES share the Gospel after God's healing power has been poured out and a NUMBER of people come to saving faith!
A "Sign" is something that points to a greater reality - That is why Jesus DID signs and wonders - to point people to the Father!
The WAY he tells what happened may offend you, but don't overlook the GOOD FRUIT!!!
What about the "sign" of creation? Why do people need a "sign" these days, we've got the Bible, isn't that enough? And I've never heard anyone at Bethel give a complete Gospel with repentance and faith. I've heard them mention Jesus and then declare the person saved, but that's not Biblical.

I've never ever seen one person do anything close to what the Bible describes as being a miracle, have you? And no, somebody's neck ache going away doesn't count. I'm talking raising from the dead, people walking since being crippled from birth etc.

You know, there is a remarkable correlation between people who say they have never seen a miracle happen and people who are unwilling to spend much time hanging around those who seek God to receive such miracles. Spend a few years visiting a bunch of different pentacostal prayer sessions and you will see a few dramatic miracles that you cannot deny. But, you may have to visit a few places, because sadly, some groups try too hard and get into the flesh and not the Spirit.

Please, Bill and other Charismatic "preachers" like you: Stop telling stories about how people are being healed. If it's real go to every hospital and lay hands on every sick person so they can be healed. If it's your faith making them well then use it and stop telling stories. Better yet teach the true Gospel of Christ.

He and His team go to hospitals every friday night at bethel. . . sometimes there teams go, and sometimes He goes with the team. . But He pretty busy most of the time with meetings, conferences etc. . . We go out here too, bring the Kingdom to where you are too bro :)
Also, When Bill teaches about healings He's not just teaching to get a "yeah" or an "amen" thats all good YES! But the testimony is also the spirit of prophecy. . when you proclaim what God is doing there is a shift in the atmosphere! :D People take hold of it and say " well if that happened maybe God will do that for me!" and people just get healed as they share testimonies! haha! Churches where miracles don't happen..is THAT Biblical?
Other words that aren't found in the Bible: "bible college", "sunday school", "hermeneutics", "canonized scripture", "trinity", "rapture", "passion of Christ", "eschatology", the list goes on.. So, does that mean these things aren't Christianity either?
The fact that the story was told with mistakes doesn't prove anything:
1. Johnson made it clear that healing events were normal in his church and city. A human mind will not recall every detail perfectly from every story unless they had a special agenda to do so.
2. A con-artist pays special attention to details to ensure perfection, so as to maximize the credibility of their story. The fact that Johnson did not tell the story perfectly can mean that he is not such a person.

Healing does exist. God does exist, healing/miracles are like evidence if u like, of God's existence.

These people have a "faith of amazement" not a Saving Faith! The preaching of the Cross is foolishness to those that are perishing, if they would've preached repentance and faith on the intercom, people would've called the police! This wasn't offensive and it wasn't the Gospel.

If you listened to the rest of the story ("Grocery Store Healing Outbreak" by the person Bill is talking about) he DOES share the Gospel after God's healing power has been poured out and a NUMBER of people come to saving faith!
A "Sign" is something that points to a greater reality - That is why Jesus DID signs and wonders - to point people to the Father!
The WAY he tells what happened may offend you, but don't overlook the GOOD FRUIT!!!

What about the "sign" of creation? Why do people need a "sign" these days, we've got the Bible, isn't that enough? And I've never heard anyone at Bethel give a complete Gospel with repentance and faith. I've heard them mention Jesus and then declare the person saved, but that's not Biblical.

@raideragent Geez,,, quit being a pharisee. Jesus told all to go to all nations and preach the gospel, have you obeyed that word, or do you just pick and choose what to believe out of the bible? Oh, yeah, not everyone in the world has a bible like the 50 million christians in China, so what do they do? There is nothing in the bible that says signs and wonders will end, and please don't point to 1 cor 13 and take it out of context like all do. Its about LOVE. If you don't have it, nothing works.

Signs and wonders are great, just so long as their not made up. If they're Biblical, then great! The biggest problem with people mixed up with this movement is that they idolize these supposed "miracles" that's all they ever talk about. I've never ever seen one person do anything close to what the Bible describes as being a miracle, have you? And no, somebody's neck ache going away doesn't count. I'm talking raising from the dead, people walking since being crippled from birth etc.

@raideragent Yes I have. You know, there is a remarkable correlation between people who say they have never seen a miracle happen and people who are unwilling to spend much time hanging around those who seek God to receive such miracles. Spend a few years visiting a bunch of different pentacostal prayer sessions and you will see a few dramatic miracles that you cannot deny. But, you may have to visit a few places, because sadly, some groups try too hard and get into the flesh and not the Spirit.

Please, Bill and other Charismatic "preachers" like you: Stop telling stories about how people are being healed. If it's real go to every hospital and lay hands on every sick person so they can be healed. If it's your faith making them well then use it and stop telling stories. Better yet teach the true Gospel of Christ.

Dude, make sure you have your facts right before you go bashing someone. He and His team go to hospitals every friday night at bethel. . . sometimes there teams go, and sometimes He goes with the team. . But He pretty busy most of the time with meetings, conferences etc. . . We go out here too, bring the Kingdom to where you are too bro :)

Also, When Bill teaches about healings He's not just teaching to get a "yeah" or an "amen" thats all good YES! But the testimony is also the spirit of prophecy. . when you proclaim what God is doing there is a shift in the atmosphere! :D People take hold of it and say " well if that happened maybe God will do that for me!" and people just get healed as they share testimonies! haha! Yay God! :)

Other words that aren't found in the Bible: "bible college", "sunday school", "hermeneutics", "canonized scripture", "trinity", "rapture", "passion of Christ", "eschatology", the list goes on.. So, does that mean these things aren't Christianity either?

The fact that the story was told with mistakes doesn't prove anything:
1. Johnson made it clear that healing events were normal in his church and city. A human mind will not recall every detail perfectly from every story unless they had a special agenda to do so.
2. A con-artist pays special attention to details to ensure perfection, so as to maximize the credibility of their story. The fact that Johnson did not tell the story perfectly can mean that he is not such a person.
